Hijack a plane the day before and attempt to crash it into the whitehouse. FAA automatically heightens warning levels security goes through the roof FBI CIA and NSA go into hipper drive and most importantly all flights the next day would be more than likely GROUNDED. Desaster averted

The story is actually decent enough, but it was low budget with a completely different cast & sets & dynamic. It was in the "DVD Exclusive Premiere" era & unfortunately detracts from the original. As a standalone movie it's watchable. Timecop was great though. Only watched it last year again & it holds up.

What?! I didn't do it!

I have proof..I was in the middle of P.E and trying to get out of doing squats cos I had a really bad tummy.
Went home for lunch, heard the news about 9/11, ate my cheese and tomato grilled pizza (10 in a pack, food of Gods), went back to school and that was that.

I didn't really care about news when I was that age.

It was a pretty good day for me because my parents were glued to the TV all afternoon and evening so I got the internet all to myself I mean I felt bad for the poor people and all but I didn't understand just how big of a deal it was, that it was different from your regular bomb or natural disaster.

Anyways if I could travel back to then I'd probably just have a word with myself about a few things, and yeah, make a few investments and stuff.

well my birthday happens to be the 10th of september
and in 2001 on that day I only turned 8 soooo I doubth I could of done anything to prevent it, but I could of made my parents **** it at the time if I was in anyway able to comprehend what happened at that time by telling the future too them

Yeah, you'd definitely be abducted to Guantanamo, even if they acted on your information and saved everyone.

Thankfully back in 2001 it would have been more than easy to walk into a shop with no CCTV and pick up a ready to go phone. Pay cash for the phone and buy £100 worth of credit too. It does need to be a reasonably busy shop though so you won't stand out.

Drive to a remote area, turn on the phone and make your phone calls. The more specific you are, the better. Vague threats are easy to make, very specific threats, not so much. Before you ring the FBI, the very first person you should call is the WTC reception and ask to speak to the head of security. This guy is really clever and constantly vigilant. Tell him what's going to happen and he will probably take you really seriously. He basically predicted that the attacks were going to happen, but then died evacuating the towers.

The FBI will take him seriously, all you have to do is convince him. You can then ring the FBI yourself if you want. Two identical accounts of the same imminent threat, can't be ignored.

Once you're done, take the SIM out of the phone and throw it away. There's no way back in 2001 that you could be traced in any kind of reasonable time.

Of course, the main problem is that if you're thrown back in time the euros in your pocket are worthless for another 3 months, your ATM card won't work, neither will your phone, and you've probably changed your car and house since then. So you'll need to break into your own house and steal your own wallet and car keys to get money and transportation. Victimless crime too.
