Another odd one. Why is there a British Airways A318 heading Shannon-JFK?

Doesn't pick up any passengers at SNN; that's just a refuel. The route is London City to JFK.

A normal scheduled business class service from London City to JFK via Shannon. Direct JFK to LCY on the return.

Just heard on the radio driving home of expected winds of up to 130 km/h tonight perhaps were in for an interesting one ahead ?

It's not odd. Twice daily London City - JFK with a much needed fuel stop and US preclearance on the outbound leg. Goes JFK direct to LCY on the return.

I did think that BAW1 usually had LCY to JFK, though? Almost certainly a non-issue, I know.

I believe the afternoon flight doesn't get the pre clearance though.

EZY are the only ones who fly there? :P

(Not true. At least, I don't think so)

Easyjet is the largest airline at BFS. Throw in a few Jet2s and a United to Newark and that's pretty much BFS in a nutshell.

EI, BA and BE all fly from BHD.

Ok bring on the weather, smokes and beer at the ready! Scanner getting primed now so a few beeps to be expected. dropping FIS now, op's will go missing if the winds pick up.

In the mean time things are meant to be a bit wild down in Cork, watching now to see how EIN84X gets on.

    This too shall pass.
