Ya. 50+ will be the real average with Silva, Yaya and Cabaye all scoring well. I'll be on 44 if Rooney gets 2. I have Szcz, Walcott, Ramsey, Lallana, Lukaku, Hazard and Coleman left to play. Moxey getting zero is a bit of a downer.

Yeah, as with every season a lot of the big hitters are in everyones squad now and in weeks when the captain choice is so obvious it's up to your differentials to perform. Unfortunately the main three I had this week were Coutinho (2), Nasri (2) and Gabbidon (-1). All I can hope for now is an Everton clean sheet after doubling up on them.

A disappointing 49 pre-bonus. Buttner cost me an Evans cs but on the plus side I had Santon. Sick of Yaya Toure!

We should have the BPs and stuff early tonight with no late game to slow things down.

How is 49 pre-bonus disappointing? These posts can be infuriating

Might be time to pack it in.

Aye, it's a pretty good sign isn't it? :pac:

I'm having my worst season since I started playing the game and getting destroyed in money leagues I've previously cleaned up on.

I'm looking forward to the January wildcard and an opportunity to freshen thing up a bit, but in terms of winning leagues etc any hopes are long gone.

bannan off at half time today also taken off early last week. Thats him on the bench for palace now I reckon.

Yip, was planning to pull the trigger on him this week.
    Bannan -> Cabaye/Lallana/6.5m

    Looking like Cabaye.
Can't wait to get it done and see a midfield of:
    Ozil, Oscar, Silva, Walcott, Cabaye

Not disappointing in an average week but with so many having Suarez, Rooney and Toure I can't imagine it's going to be particularly high. That combined with being 61 points behind my rival on my main money league and a terrible start mean I need huge points! So more of a a personal disappointment.

47 from 5 pre bonus but thanks to the Hull Brom game ending in a draw, €2.50 on 6 match accum becomes €115. Lovely Jubbly :D

Seeing all the other scores my 42 is looking kinda below average. I blame it all on Gabbidon, the scumbag.

No you don't, you need to make up an average of 3 points per week!

    patience.

still 20 GWs to go including the Christmas chaos and January WC.

I'm nearly 100pts behind in some leagues but I won't panic until Feb/March.

I regret not taking a hit to get Silva. meh.

angry at the Kompany og but at least he's on a few points.

need a big day from Oscar and Lallana tomorrow.

Me too re Silva but it would have been to replace Lallana. So we'll see how he gets on tomorrow. Silva will come in this weekend anyway now.

Yaya and Silva set to get 3 BPs each. Could change though.

61 points is nothing. If that's all behind I was I'd be over the moon. Try 140 behind. How pi$$ed would you be then?

That's a much better way of looking at it. I'm sorry for voicing my disappointment, please relent everyone.

    You're forgiven. Just about!!

also Harvey, there's nothing truer than that theory of Benimar's of you only needing 3pts a week.

I had a shambles of a start. I mean 10 weeks of misery. the last 7 weeks have seen slow progress. I'm confident I'll be there or thereabouts in my main leagues.

if I'm within 70 points of them come Jan 2nd I'll be ready for a decent shot at a successful run-in.

Aye, I think my impatience is borne out of just how vocal the leader is and how often I hear about his position. But it'd probably be all the sweeter to sneak up on him over the second half of the season and overtake him the last couple of game weeks.

Pretty ****in pissed. 16 behind for me. Opponent has yet to shift out Zabaleta and Aguero though so with a bit of luck that Zab 1 will last a game or 2 longer.

Ta, nice on paper and hopefully it works.
I've had to do a slight gamble in getting there.
Suarez and Lukaku up front but my "turd" forward is Chamakh.

Think there's enough in midfield to make it work though.

Have a 100 point gap to close in pay league and I'm confident I can give it a good attempt.
Leader is type of person that can't sell if there's money tied up.
He made 2 transfers this week yet Aguero sits on his bench. He won't sell Ramsey or Yaya either, but his other 3 are weak/average. A bad patch from Ramsey or Yaya (unlikely) and I'm catching up.

Yaya or Silva? Very hard to pick between them for the rest of the season. Previous seasons stats say Silva, but Yaya is on cracking form.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,962 ✭✭✭Hogey007

happy to see mannone in line for 3bp's that'll take him to 10 versus marshall's 2 so cancels out the 4 point hit and gives me an extra 4 points on top of it.

Anyone know how long brown is suspended for? is it a 3 or 1 match ban?

    safebet - yaya
    gamble - silva

with the January wildcard around the corner silva is worth a little bit of a gamble in my opinion. he's that bit cheaper too. would you be able to get away with just a 4 point hit rather than 8 if you chose silva?

48 points from 7 pre BPs. Happy with that.
Expecting 9 BPs - 3 from Yaya, Debuchy and Suarez each.

Terry, Ramsey, Ozil and Lallana to play so not expecting much but still hopeful. :D

Silva is cheaper but Yaya is on set pieces and penalties, that would swing it for me.

    Silva gone back to 2bps.

    Yaya still on 3 though

If Aguero wasn't injured I'd have said Silva.
But considering he's out for a bit and Yaya on frees and penos, then I think that tips the scale in favour of Yaya ever so slightly.
