Went out for a quiet festive drink after work last night. Ended up leaving Coppers when it closed. I am not well. I also spent all the money.

Work xmas party tonight, 12 pubs tomorrow. Only Shakespeare can inspire me now.

Has anybody ever had A quiet festive drink??

Get your second wind there Keano, be grand

Work Christmas party tonight but have just learned that a few of my (favourite) colleagues won't be making it due to overtime on a project I'm working in tangent to. It's very frustrating: I'm in a quiet patch today waiting for some other stakeholders to do their part before I can do mine yet there's nothing I can do to help those on the team who'll be here til 10 or 11 tonight.

I managed a quiet festive drink once...but the 2nd and 3rd and 4th drinks killed the quiet part

I have long made it a point on a night out to ensure I only ever have one drink.

Said drink fits into multiple glasses though.

Jack L was really good last night, though the seats in the Unitarian Church are terribly uncomfortable.

Had a couple of hot Jameson's when I got in last night and am now lying on the sofa watching Prisoner : Cell Block H.

So feckin content right about now.

The queue in the canteen here is quite hilarious at the moment. Full walking dead mode

Nothing like an assortment of dead animals in a bun to get things back on an even keel.

Though if you really do have time to kill I heartily recommend this with the addition of some Irish breakfast regulars of course.

I don't think the 'chef' in our canteen would be up to that task. He can just about manage to cook a sausage

I actually nearly vomited at the thought of that pizza :o
(Although I'm not a pizza eater anyway which probably doesn't help)

I'm going for a coffee and a sausage sandwich at 10....not because I need it, I just can!
