Cheers, might ring first thing in the morning and see whats the situation, I could even pop down and pay and collect later if needs be. Console €400 in Smyths?

Smartspot have updated their Facebook page to say they will have limited stock in the morning on first come basis. this is where I got my ps4 last Saturday.
They had 15 in stock and their was only 10 of us in queue.might be worth trying guys
I got mine in tallaght. They have stores in Carlow and navan too

Was talking to the reps at game stop and they said check their face book page as some stores have filled their pre-orders and are selling Ps4 on a first come first serve basis

Sorry about the other post. This is the email I got from Argos regarding stock in the Dublin area:

"Subject: PS4 Availability

Thank you for your email regarding the availability of the PS4.

Please accept my apologies for the delay in replying to your email. We do aim to answer all emails within 48 hours of receiving them. However, we are currently experiencing higher than anticipated email volumes.

I am sorry that you have not been able to purchase this item locally due to lack of stock. It has proved to be very popular and has exceeded our anticipated demand. I have checked the stores in your area and the warehouse that supplies them and I am sorry to advise that at present the latest update indicates we do not have dates for stock arrivals.
