Smash open every piggy bank east of Lough Ree - SOB simply cannot go to France.

Why should they sort it out? Sky are a British entity.

People should be unhappy the English teams are out. It won't be the same competition without them whether people like it or not. A lot of people with eggs on their face this week after all the childish "no wonder they don't want to play" type comments.

Disappointing result but lets try to remember a few facts shall we.

1-We have won the double header against Northampton 5-4, that is certainly something I would have gladly taken once the draw was made.

2-We beat the Ospreys 4-0 in Swansea, something that I'm sure most of us would have bitten various hands for once the draw was made.

3-We are still top of the pool and given how other pools have played out very much still in the mix for a home QF.

Yes the match was a total kick in the balls but surely there's no need for any hysterics just yet.

Leinster where terrible, I think Ross is finished at this level, Bent no good, Madigan no use tonight, missing SOB so bad not even funny! But after all that Garces was terrible today, balant knock forwards, terrible calls all night. Hate to see him reffing a match.

They are a UK broadcaster in fairness.

If they are totally unbiased in their coverage, they would be the only broadcast partner to be so.

serious questions of decision making. little or no catch and drive, some line out ball put redden under a lot of pressure. The ball just got thrown along the back line with no variety in terms of chips/grubbers. I know people dont like Heaslip being criticised, but I really dont think he is a good captain at all. Hartley had the ref in his pocket all night.

One thing i never understand is when a player breaks through and is in effect 1 on 1 with the full back, why not just put a percentage kick in. Leinster coughed up 2/3 penalties from going into contact instead of turning NH. They never established any real territorial pressure which meant NH were always comfortable.

Heaslip was the standout player in Leinster's pack, they wouldn't have been in the position to sneak it at the end without him.

It was a bad mistake but BOD made a couple of costly poor decisions tonight, and no one is saying he's shít.

Leinster's entire performance wasn't good enough tonight, bar maybe Luke Fitz. Couldn't hold possession, were beaten by NH's physicality, scrum and at the breakdown. Not down to Heaslip.

Fitzgerald was at fault for two NH line breaks one of which was the try. Didn't cover his inside man on either occasion.

We weren't good enough across the board. Northampton aggression and line speed created a lot of errors in our play.

Garces is an absolutely shocking referee but both teams got what they deserved from the scoreboard.

Home QF is no longer possible

I'm not sure how it looked at the game but must say I though Hartley's throwing at the lineout was crooked most of the time. He got called on it once.

Saints totally deserved that, so well done to them.

Hopefully it's a right kick up the arse for Leinster, there's a job still to be done to get out of the pool.

First person to blame Madigan for this gets a stinker left on their porch...

Healy and SOB are big ball carriers. If they were in the pitch at the start/end of the second half Leinster would have got over the line.

They are a UK broadcaster, but when they buy up the coverage rights in other territories and expect people in those territories to pay them for the "privilege" of viewing the matches and consuming the commentary, they should try to cater to that side of their market too. Most other broadcasters are not the only option that people outside the home territory have for watching the matches.

Seriously! According to the English commentators "this was the best turn around in H-cup history" says it all really...

What was the aggregate score again?

    It was all Madigans fault.

In fairness I can't think of any other team who lost so badly in the first leg of the back to back games to then go on and win, win well too, in the second leg.

I dunno where the fault lies but today Leinster seemed to have forgotten the "earn the right to go wide" philosophy that was drilled in under Schmidt. Good ground was made up the middle on a few occasions, yet we never seemed set up to recycle and repeat a first ballcarrier move up the inside channel and really hit them on the back foot. That's where quick ball can be most devestating and it's also where Reddan shines. Slow ball aimlessly spun wide by a scrum-half better suited to the tight, with an ageing/slow midfield, against an organised defence.... Rinse and reapeat. Definitely the most disappointing thing about this game for me.

Totally but Leinster looked totally devoid of ideas tonight's regardless of ball carrying very annoying.

Just expressing an opinion. Funny that getting told to "**** off" by another poster doesn't raise any issues for you.

God, that was poor. Excellent play NH, a deserved win. Hartley was excellent. Poor showing from Reddin, ruddock, heaslip, Madigan, dKearney, Toner....sad to see.

Thats what happens when you don't have ball carriers to get over the gainline.
If you don't get over the gainline you will never be able to do anything in attack.

Heaslip is a fantastic player, but without Sean O'Briens carrying he is just a flanker. Not an 8. Your 8 should be your big ball carry, and unfortunatly Heaslip was shocking in that department today (has been for a few years). Leinster should stump up whatever money O'Brien wants after today.

Tonight was a reminder first and foremast Rugby is a contact sport. Northampton won the collisions tonight. Easily. Healy and SOB were missed. But Northampton played boring, to their strengths and won fair and square.

BOD was totally outplayed by North. I hate the fact that BOD kicks away a lot of the possession he gets, just handing the ball back to the opposition.

Home quarter final all but gone, lack of bonus points like last year is killing us.Toulouse,Toulon,Ulster are dead certs for home quarters with Clermont and Munster next in line.We won't get more than 22 points IMO(4 v Castres,5 v Ospreys) Badly missed SOB and Healy and even McGrath when he went off.Bent is truly awful.

That was awful to watch. It was almost as sickening as possible given the finish. Throw in a team I hate anyway and the gloating commentary throughout and am in a total fowler now. Raging even if NH deserved to win

That's how I feel; we went and panicked at the death; can't afford errors like that if we want to progress.

Nobody's forcing you to watch it. Cancel your subscription if it annoys you so much.

Of course they are OTT, but for a team to pick themselves up after the hiding they took last week takes a lot of guts.
