Doesn't she donate childrens books to under 5's or something for free in the states?

She is very talented in fairness, but a whole gig might be a bit much
If you're lucky, she might even rap for you. Although my cringe sensors won't let me watch

I generally cannot stand country music. It begins and ends with Patsy Cline for me.

But, I'd have quite a bit of respect for Dolly. She came from absolutely nothing and made something of herself, with more than her fair share of bumps (no pun intended) along the way. She also seems to possess a healthy degree of self-depreciative humour, which is always good to see in people involved in her business.

I'm not mad about her music though, but 'I will always Love You' beats the shit out of that warbling drivel that Whitney spewed forth, that's for sure.

I wouldn't pay shillings to she her in concert though. But if you're on for it, go for it.

    She is Miley Cyrus's godmother...

I really wish Miley would go back to Country, she has an amazing voice for it and it is her true musical roots.

And why the hell does boards not have a Country Music forum, so much more to it than the dreadful Mike Denver.

Great idea. Sure Dolly is a legend :D

Well, two legends really. My God, I just looked at a few recent photos ....... wtf has she done to her face? From being a nice looking Southern belle, she now looks grotesque. Her make up crew certainly earn their money.

A severe case of body dysmorphia. Should have seen a shrink instead of the plastic surgeon. What exactly drives people to do this to their bodies?

Have a gander. Just over 1 minute long. If too busy  go to 27 secs

Years ago I read an article in an issue of Reader's Digest entitled 'Dolly Parton's Coat Of Many Colours' about her life and times and it made for great reading. Dolly has truly earned her legendary status and, in my humble opinion, is one of the last great entertainers.

    Enjoy the concert.

I can't understand Ireland's obsession with boybands and Louis Walsh type acts. Mike Denver is nothing but a Westlife style act with a Celtic/Irish music/folk flavour and a cowboy hat on him. He is famous because Tubridy and the like make him so. Plus, his song 'Day of my return' is a total cash-in on the then popular 'Galway girl' written by Steve Earle.

I am not a fan of any manufactured pop music sound and Mike Denver is a prime example of a soulless pop singer produced by some Louis Walsh wannabe who wants to ride on the wave of 'Westlife folk style' and further pollute Irish music.
