Commenting on a speech you've yet to hear? I think you meant to post in the fortune teller thread running at the moment

Enda Kenny is going to give a national address on the occasion of Ireland leaving the bailout.
The usual malcontents are not content with the speech they haven't heard.

It wasn't so long ago that he said that the Irish people weren't to blame for the economic crisis....then shortly after when he was being bummed by Merkle in the Swiss Alps he called us all greedy and said we were to blame.

    Kenny is a fvcktard.

A lot less than what's posted on here.

Enda's doing the speech on Sunday because he has to look like he had more important things to do than go to Nelson's funeral (they only invited real world leaders ;) )

so expect phrases like "green shoots" "yes we can" "our great nation" "I never had sexual relations with that woman" (Merkel) "its all Fianna Fails fault" " we did not realise how bad it was" the word "recovery" numerous times, possibly the phrase "light at the end of the tunnel" possibly at the end "God Bless you all, God Bless Ireland" and Happy Christmas.
No doubt there will be some mention of jobs figures also, "Ireland is open for business"
The real fun will be figuring out which famous speech he plagiarises this time :D

Last time there was an address like this we were told we wouldnt need a bail out before getting one. So this will probably be to tell us we won't need a bailout to leave the bailout....before we get another bailout.

Wrong the last public address was December 2011, we were already a year into the bailout. That address was before the governments first budget.

Never voted Fine Gael in my life and probably still won't, but I think Enda Kenny is doing a fine job in the circumstances he inherited.

I expect him to have his speech written for him by a speech writer and for it to say pretty much the same thing any other government leader anywhere would say in his position.

Each to their own I suppose

But IMO, he is as big a bluffer as any cnut that was in fianna fail,

you can't question him as he won't debate with anyone, mainly because he cannot stand over anything he says

he made numerous promises that he did not keep or ever intend to keep

he is full of his own importance, as well as completely full of sh1t

any **** er that sets himself up as some kind of saviour of Ireland is heading for a serious fall. The speech Sunday is all about his ego.
next up Minister Reilly telling us what a great job he is doing for the health of the country

In fairness Sunday could be termed a State of the Nation Speech

and we are in some state :D
