I like ketchup in my sandwiches (don't judge until you've tried it, I've already converted two people).

I don't like tea, coffee, biscuits, chips, onions, cheese (unless grilled), cheese and onion crisps, galaxy chocolate, honeycomb, mint, 7-up and some more I can't think of.

I don't trust anyone with beards or moustaches. They are usually hiding something.

I cannot have any volume button reading at an odd number - on my tv/stereo it can be 14/16 etc., but it cannot be 15. It actually bothers me, I've even changed it in other person's home - like they will adjust the volume and I'll pick up the control and adjust it by 1 if they leave it on an odd number.

I do this as well - see, its not weird people!!

And Ive got an odd number in my username too - its only volumes!

I am a digital hoarder, cannot throw anything into the recycle bin, just create a new folder (2013 soon) and lob everything into it for the external drive.

I just know all those old emails will be needed someday.

i dont drink tea ,coffee or hot chocolate , and i dont watch tv sitcoms or series

I would trample over my own mother for some hot chocolate right now.
I like to communicate via song lyrics.

My boyfriend speaks in movie/TV quotes. It's either the Simpsons or Dumb and dumber! I'm used to it now :(

He actually quoted a Damien Dempsey song to me once, he said 'Ive been feeling kind of low lately' or something like that, and I hugged him and almost cried. He had been out of work and wasn't himself, then he started cracking up laughing and told me it was a song :( I could kill him sometimes.

We were supposed to go for dinner and I said quarter to 8. He said he has things to do, make it 7.45....I said they're the same thing. Turms out its a dumb and dumber quote. Dont get me started on the soup of the day.

It's usually another fist under the beard, though I think that only applies to Chuck Norris...

I get that. For me certain noises trigger it-someone eating crisps or people typing/clicking a mouse. I feel weird for liking noises other people hate. I love it!

I suppose the auld talking to myself has caught me out a few times. Chatting away goodio to myself 'till someone walks in and catches me. I don't find it awkward but I feel awkward for them believing I feel embarrassed...which I don't. For example, I often interview myself on behalf of an international magazine doing an article on emigration asking for emigrants views on their new lives abroad. Or tell myself out loud what I have to get in the supermarket so it sticks in my mind. Or have pretend arguments with lazy students about how they have to shape up or ship out (of my class). Great craic.

When I tell people I prefer to go to movies alone.

I don't sit quietly in a dark room for 2 hours to socialize!

Yes! Or walks alone or doing anything at all alone! I just want to go alone and be alone...okay? Many people find that hard to fathom.

Yeah I love having a day free for myself or being in town and thinking "might go to a film!". Better than having to wait until others are free and go through the whole rigmarole of organizing everything and deciding on what to watch. Also I tend to enjoy films more when I'm not wondering what the person beside me is thinking. :)

    Don't drink tea or coffee
    Go to the cinema alone.
Tend to swear at machinery at work
    Maybe I'm just antisocial!

    Synesthesia.

I don't have it, but you do. Dave Fanning talks about it; he sees numbers. Some people smell colours or hear shapes.

Its not that unusual but a number of people have recoiled at it over the years, I eat the entire apple including core, the only bit I dont eat is the stalk.

I've done this as a child. Now my 19 month son does it too. He also tries to eat banana skins and orange peel, but he didn't get that off me.

    Watching television programmes on DVD.

Scheduling them for the same time and day as originally broadcast.

i.e. I watch Miami Vice at 11.20pm on Friday nights.
Hill Street Blues at 10.50pm on Mondays etc.

I see numbers too. I can even put them together and make bigger numbers. Am I magic?

I get a tingle in my left shoulder blade if the food I eat (particularly chips, for some reason) is too hot.

I didn't think this was weird until I mentioned it in the ladies at a pub last weekend and had 4 women I didn't know quiz me about it like it's SUCH a bizarre thing- I drink coffee in the shower when I'm getting ready to go out for the night. Wine in summer, coffee in winter. If you have time for a relaxing shower there's no better accompaniment!

It's probably weirder that I stroke the sides of my face and neck realllllly gently sometimes until it's so tickly I can't bear it, then I scratch the shit out of it. Amazing.

    I thought everyone got that?!

    Yeah I get that too.
Its my chi, sometimes I can direct it.

I can probably heal/kill with it if I practice.

I'm really sorry if misjudged your comment, I thought you meant Big Deal, I see numbers (on a page like everyone else).

Yes, if you see numbers, or smell colours, or feel smells, that's synesthesia. Dave Fanning describes how he sees numbers in patterns and spirals, doing all sorts of things visually which are only sometimes undestandable as mathematical.

No, no... First one is definitely the weirdest!!!
How do you not get shower water in it? What kind of shower do you have?
Do you keep it on a shelf?
Red or white wine? If white, does it not get warm and yuck?!

When I'm in the shower I like to cup my hands below my anus until the water builds up and then I squash it up my hole. It's a cheaper form of colonic hydrotherapy.

OMG - it's an actual thing! I get this too, it's lovely :) Certain voices trigger it, and listening to heavy rain when falling asleep.

Also, while I don't think I'm afraid of heights as such, if I find myself up high, or I'm watching someone on tv scale a cliff or hang off a ledge or something, I get a tingly feeling in the soles of my feet. Have it right now just thinking about it. I remember going rock-climbing in transition year and I knew I had climbed too high when my feet went tingly ape-****. So strange, and not the nicest of sensations tbh. :/
