Jez man. Lets assume u are on your second interview, in uncomfortable place and you answered on all question correctly and suddenly manager asks you do you like working in team? - you answered yes I like working in team, for me its more effective than working alone (yes THIS IS MY ANSWER IF U HAVENT GET IT) and she asks you WHY? - So you would be putted in shock because you answered on that question before.

Now you get it why am I angry ? or still not?

Well as someone who got the job and went onto be a manager shows I know the answer! They want you to say I like to mix with people, I like helping people, I like liaise with my manager etc they are all miles better than your answer!!

Also they asked WHY and not DO you like working in a team so they expect reasons, at least passport boy knew his stuff.

I had an interview for dunnes store, and I got refused why? because I think I was not quite ''smart'' for stupid manager. She asked me very smart question such as like:

''WHY YOU LIKE WORK IN TEAM?''

I was so confused and I answered - because I like to, and she dosent like it...great only one question.

I want also admit that before interview I was sitting next of some ''clever guy'' who dosent know what is a passport and he asked the manager, and guess what? he got a job.

    You didn't understand the question.

You need to go to your local library and borrow a book about Interviews and appropriate answers to typical questions.

Had an interview with them last year and was appauled at how rude and blunt the manager was. I was on a gap year at the time and she basically made it clear she thought I was an idiot for taking the year off education. She really didn't seem to have any interest in allowing me to speak and kept asking questions and then cutting me off. Came out of there feeling like utter crap and vowing to never apply there again. Well not that branch anyway... may be different elseware

Is working in the deli department all behind the hot counter and making sandwiches etc. or does it involve any stocking shelves?

Behind the counter, maybe the odd time helping out on the floor.

    Hi,
I may be working for dunnes in the summer and I was also thinking of getting my ears pierced in the summer. I was just wondering if there was rules for ear piercings as a male?
