I have tiles and dogs!

The steam cleaner is plugged in with a very long lead and you push it around the floor to steam the dirt and marks off. They are prone to leaving marks but with the blue pads they clean well.

technically they clean tiled floors, :P and I am delighted with mine and just got my mop covers from Amazon and have had no problems using it whatsoever,

oh for sure,

I got one a few weeks ago in kilkenny, could not afford a Vax and himself was with me, I paid for it and he said in a loud voice ! do you not want to check it first to make sure its a Vax! oh cringe!

It was and I am delighted with it - does a great job

@bozharry - does the steam works one convert into a hand held cleaner as well or is it only a mop?

@RobbietheRobber keep us updated as to what you get, I'm pissed that I missed this BA as I've been looking for a decent steam mop at a good price for a while now !

Anybody else have an issue with the cap for the water tank?

I got mine when the BA was first posted. The plastic cap has become very brittle and cracked into pieces.

Didn't even take it out of the box. From what I could see it is just the mop and the cleaning pad has no way of attaching to the mop, it just sits under it!! Really looked and felt cheap.

Same happened to mine if you look on the mop theres a vax number to ring and they will send you out a replacement took about a week to get mine
