In fairness to the woman in the article, she seems (based on the photos at least) to be raising 8 kids who look both happy and healthy.

I think that's what people are reacting to more than anything else. If it was a story about a single mother living in squalor then I reckon people would have a different view... but this person seems to be doing alright given her circumstances, so naturally people are going to question or criticise her demands for more money, or her proclamation that she 'can't survive'...

I find it hilarious, that only on after hours, is this behavior condoned, oooohhh the poor woman, I take it that the majority of the sympathizers on here arent taxpayers themselves or are raising a family very comfortably!

A good point was raised about it being based on fact by the daily mail. As if it isnt credible because its in the daily mail, its doing the british taxpayer a service by highlighting the likes of this...

Who is condoning it or saying "ooooohhh the poor woman"? People are only saying there are still eight children and it's not their fault so that should be borne in mind rather than the usual blind vitriol-throwing. Find one quote saying it's a good thing, which would be the definition of condoning it, as you claim.

It's in the Daily Mail so the comments are hardly interesting and moreso spectacularly predictable and venom-filled. And "at odds" with most of the comments here? You're having a laugh. Most of the comments here are straight out of the Daily Mail, and worse - going on about her vagina and even that she should consider going on the game being used to opening her legs. Do you always read what you want to read into stuff?
