whats THE BEST food and drink for clear healthy skin? :)

    the title says it all! :) i have really bad acne scars and dark spots so i was just wondering what the best foods and drink would be for my skin? :)

    Acne scars are not really affected all that much by food as they are already there if you know what I mean.

    I have a friend that swears by a couple of things:

    1. Derma rolling with serum. Dermarollers are little needles that stick into the skin and damage it enough to regenerate collagen in the area.     Make sure you read up on how to do derma properly as you need to be super careful with keeping everything nice and sterile.

    2. Niacinamide cream. You can buy 2% niacinamide cream over the counter, more potent stuff needs to be prescribed by a dermatologist. This is especially good for lightening dark spots

    3. Red-light therapy, this is very pricy but in combo with derma rolling has a big effect. Salons charge a lot of money per session (upwards of 40 euro) but some sunbed places have the beds that run at 10 per session. Red light stimulates the generation of collagen and even helps reverse sun damage (there is zero UV light from red light)

    I've gotten compliments on my skin since I started on green tea. Like 3 or 4 cups a day.

    Try that for a month or two.

    +1 on the get off wheat advice..eat brown rice/beans instead

    eat more fruit & veg,oily fish like sardines,eggs
    less sugar,dairy

    its different for everyone but some nuts flare people up cashews/pistachios/peanuts I think maybe because they're full of Omega 6

    Having more Omega 3 than Omega 6 in your diet is important!
