If I was you, I'd keep Dawson and go Townsend to Morisson. That would free up as much cash as Dawson to Vlaar and Townsend didn't even start at the weekend.

After several permutations on the transfers page I've eventually come to the conclusion you were right all along!! :)

Spurs fixtures better after this week, so most likely keep with Dawson, do Townsend to Morrison and hold the hit till next week as the FFS Cup continues this week.

Next week after seeing how Walcott gets on Ozil > Walcott and Remy > Rooney leaves this:
    282125.jpg

Clyne could be swapped for Ward or Vlaar or somebody if needed but its probably by then getting towards time to finally find out what it feels like to bank a transfer.

    Cheers for the input.

That's a tasty team. Three strong defenders, 3 strong mids and two that rotate well and the most desirable strike force,

Cheers. I got a bit excited when I realised I'd be able to get Rooney in without major surgery. Had been thinking I'd not get there till January WC.

Also just realised that I could get Evans instead of Clyne for Uniteds decent run till the new year. Depends on price rises being kind to me as both Utd lads may rise on me.

Edit. Though vidic was out for longer, Evans won't be playing as much as I thought maybe...

Happy enough with this, fingers crossed for another good week.

I wouldn't be particularly pushed about a United defender anyway. They aren't keeping clean sheets at the minute.

Ye have 2/3 transfers to make what would ye do? I'm just curious as to what others would do.

Townsend out for Ramsey. Williams out for Chester to free up cash for future moves to upgrade midfield.

Would you make any changes to this team? .4m bank

    Boruc
    Coleman Vlaar johnson
    Hazard Ozul Ramsay Morrison
    Rooney Aguero Suarez

    McGregor Clyne Brady Chester

Chester 3rd sub will be back eventually
    Morrison/ Brady rotated when fit
ozil/ Coleman had question marks but made up for that?
Solid team or just me

With 2 transfers I'd do Sessegnon & Townsend to Ramsey and Lallana/maybe a spurs mid as they can't be gash all season:).

With 3 I'd do the same first 2 and ditch Williams & get Lescott/Gibbs/coloccini/Debuchy etc. Keep Turner as you'd probably feel dirty if you shipped him and nobody really wants to be talking you down from the top of Delia towers when he scores a brace of headers away from home (disclaimer) and you ain't got him :D your front 3 is (generically) **** hot btw

Cheers yeah I'm looking to get rid of Sess, Andros, Williams and I'm happy to lose Terry too.

It's really a "get Ramsey in" question I posed :pac: I won't be touching Lallana as his fixtures remain poor for the forseable future and at 7 is too expensive. Seeing as Turner was injured rather than dropped he's ok for now, a rest against Liverpool would be fine too :pac:

Ramsey in for Sess is something I'm looking at. I'd like either Gerrard or Couts for the Norwich game if I could and I want to bring Ben Turner in for either Terry or Williams.

It's too late to think now so I might come back in again tomorrow with other ideas.

looks great. Only suggestion I might make is to switch Fer out for maybe Brady or someone like that. Brady at 5.2 is a solid option, as they similar points returns.

Looking at your team Mr P, what stands out is that your midfield is weak IMO. I know you have the dream front three but whenever I looked at your screenshot above it was the midfield that kept standing out.

I'd get Ramsey in ASAP for Townsend like I said and then free up cash elsewhere to upgrade Howson and Sess.

I'd be keeping Terry, Coleman and Clyne and downgrading Turner and Williams to Chester and Ben Turner. That would free up another 1.4 million. You need to maximise all the funds you can because you have so much tied up in that frontline.

These moves would take time but the GWs come thick and fast now. Tbh looking at your team is putting me off any thoughts of going for a big 3 up front of Rooney along with Suarez/Aguero.

A 4 point hit to get Ramsey in would leave my team looking like this. How does it look?
This week was first week without Arsenal cover of any sort so that can't happen again. Ever!!

Looks good. I'd then keep an eye on Lallana to Coitinho for future weeks.

I'm the first to admit my midfield is an absolute disaster and has been since the start of the season. Getting on the golden trio up front at the right time is the only good thing I've done this season but I got that very, very right.

Even if I had Ramsey in that midfield it's still awful but I think he'll have to come in, I knew he was in great form since I saw him in the CL back at the start of the season, saw him first hand impressing against Wigan at the back end of last season and all I can think is that I enjoyed being hipster about not bringing him in. I think he's a terrific player and won't feel dirty having him in my side if/when I do make the transfer. There are advantages of bringing him in now that won't see me suffer a price shift.

I'll mull things over during the day anyway, cheers man :)

Just bring him in. Nothing left to mull over any more I'm afraid. I'm just waiting for today's games to finish first to make sure no one else in my midfield gets injured. Then it's Sess out for Ramsey. Why oh why didn't I just do it in GW 3?

Right finally asking for some opinions and advice. Have been really thran and patient as have had Van Persie from day 1. However missing out again today is final straw. Was hoping to sit tight until new year but too expensive for just odd appearance. Anyway team below:
    Boruc (Daniels)
    Mertesecker, Coleman, Terry (Williams, Gabbidon)
Brady, Oscar, Januzai, R. Morrison (Ward Prowse)
    Aguero, Suarez, Van Persie.
Midfield obviously an issue. Happy with Brady and Morrison and want Walcott in for long term once he gets back into starting team. I know everyone is going to advise Ramsey and was thinking of doing Van Persie and Januzai to Ramsey and Rooney. However also want Walcott so leaves it a bit Arsenal dependant. Anyway thoughts appreciated, cheers.

Looking again. Thinking swapping Coleman, Januzai, Ward-Prowse and Van Persie to Vlaar, Ramsey, Walcott and Lukaku. Spread hit over next couple game weeks though. I know that's big surgery but needed?

I'd keep Coleman. Everton now have two tough games but then have a decent run.

Almost completely satisfied with my team.
    Have:

    Mignolet Boruc

    Coleman Terry Mertesacker Vlaar Clyne

    Ramsey Yaya Hazard Morrison Janujaz

    Rooney Aguero Suarez

I'm thinking Janujaz is the only remaining weak link as I'd prefer a better option to rotate with Morrison. Toying with the idea of dropping Yaya and Janujaz for Mirallas and Lallana but I'm not sure if two mid-price mids are better than 1 high end and 1 on the bench.

Two things you really need to consider is the tight fixture list and Arsenals tough run in up to Xmas.

    Mignolet Boruc

    Coleman Terry Mertesacker Vlaar Clyne

    Ramsey Yaya Hazard Morrison Janujaz

    Rooney Aguero Suarez

Absolute class team mate! I wouldn't touch it but with the fixture madness during Xmas you never know.
I'm struggling what to do with mine:

    Mignolet Jones

    Coleman Ivanovic Gibbs Rosenior Zabeleta

    Ramsey Lampard Hazard Barkley Delph

    Remy Aguero Suarez

Also attached it. Anyone any ideas?

Bit unsure of what to do this week. Had planned on taking a -4 point hit to do Reid+Brady for Ramsey+Olssen but with news that the Welsh Wizard may be rested on Wednesday I'm a bit wary of doing the swap. I can afford a £0.1m swing on any of the players and wouldn't play Olssen this week anyway so it's either do the double swap or bank the transfer and do it next week, saving 4 points in the process.

My issue is, Coutinho and Morrison didn't start this week although both featured. If I knew the latter was starting I'd have him in ahead of Vlaar. My midfield is a bit of a mess as they can all be rotated.

Is it just us on here assuming Ramsey will be rested? Do I bring him in tonight?

He won't rise tonight so you can hold off, but I'm also trying to figure out the source of this rested rumour, all I can find atm is this - http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1869212-how-arsenal-will-line-up-against-cardiff-city

The Anti-Ramsey Brigade don't meet til 7 so I don't think we're the source of the leak but I'll ask around.

Ditch Ivanovic and Zabaleta and Barkley.
Vlaar, Clyne and Morrison probably offer more for less.
Then you can upgrade Delph to someone who'll offer you a bit more going forward...not sure how much you have in the bank, but I'm reckoning 3-4 million could be saved doing above?
