    ................................

I brought in Remi and Sagna for Sturridge and Chambers, thoughts anyone? Team's here https://us.v-cdn.net/6034073/uploads/attachments/59006/281028.jpg

Lampard has done little to note recently, I would be looking to get rid, I also wouldn't have Sturridge and Suarez, time to dump Sturridge IMO. I think augero is a must, so I would take him over Rooney, downgrade Sturridge to lukaku or benteke and try and upgrade your midfield which is pretty week.

Lampard and Bradley have done nothing of note recently, I have Boruc and non playing keeper which frees up cash foe elsewhere, will be looking to change Boruc soon due to the saints tricky run of fixtures, I believe you have too much invested in defence also.

I play 3-4-3 and go with one dear defender with 2 cheapies, Collins of west ham is an option again as he returns from injury.

I had already brought in Remi for Sturridge. I decided to keep Lamps for a stupid reason, he's going back to West ham this week and I fancy him to do something. I benched Barkley and Coleman.

Cheers, its something I considered last GW and might change nxt GW.

Brought in Gibbs instead of cheap Chambers. I fancy Arsenal to get a clean sheet this weekend. I had thought of alternatively bringing in Ozil for Lamps and keeping Chambers to rot on the bench but the fact that Southampton haven't been hammered this season put me off bringing Ozil back in this GW.

Cool, Collins would be a nice option in a few weeks. I'm going with 4-3-3 with the two Everton boys benched.

Hi everyone. Would appreciate if anyone could help me.
    Here's my current team:
    Lewis/Boruc
    Fonte/Ivanovic/Zabaleta/Debuchy/Coleman
    Morrisson/Ramsey/Ozil/Lallana/Barkley
    Giroud/Lukaku/Suarez

Any changes I should make? I'm going to have a bad week i'm afraid. I was think =ing swapping out ozil and giroud for rooney and hazard.

Only getting time to watch MOTD this evening and reflect on the plans heading into Xmas.

I'm thinking of getting on with the Ozil to Walcott move, and also probably Dawson to Vlaar. When I looked at that I realised I could then for GW14 swap Remy up to Rooney for the current 'dream' front line and United's run of Everton (H), Newcastle (H), Aston Villa (A), West Ham (H), Hull City (A), Norwich (A) taking me right to the New Year.

Would want to get back into Spurs defence in a few weeks and if I'm lucky could get Kaboul in at 4.6m if he holds his place. Can also change Townsend and/or Ramsey to make further modifications to defence or midfield (i.e. could go for Morrison, Mirallas or Sessegnon). Also want to save a transfer somewhere before Xmas.

Team in 3 transfers (2FT and one hit) would look like this. I think it looks tastier than the Christmas turkey :) ...any feedback?

If I was you, I'd keep Dawson and go Townsend to Morisson. That would free up as much cash as Dawson to Vlaar and Townsend didn't even start at the weekend.

Spurs are toothless and just aren't scoring. It's an amazing stat for a team that have just spent 100 million mainly on attacking mids and a striker but Aguero has now scored more goals in 12 games than the entire Spurs team.

How is my team looking for this weekend? Any comments and suggestions are most welcome. Only going one direction in my mini-league and it's not upwards.

Coloccini may not start. He played last week because Debuchy was injured I believe (I'm open to correction on that, not a Newcastle fan). They seem to be a mixed bag defensively. They kept Chelsea and Tottenham out, but conceded quite a few goals against lesser teams. I wouldn't expect a clean sheet.

If he doesn't play, you've got Januzaj to come in. Hes also not likely to play an entire game. Evans seems to be getting regular game time now and they're up against Tottenham. Tottenham seem to be struggling to actually score goals. If it was me, I'd have Evans as first sub.

The fixtures are very favourable for Colocini to be honest, it seems more than likely that he will retain his place now that he has a game behind him, he seems to be their defensive leader.

I'd expect Totenham to score at least once at the weekend against United, their will have to be some sort of backlash from Sunday.... right???

Tottenham tend to do better at home, so it wouldn't surprise me.

I suppose they do need to redeem themselves.

My main aim with Vlaar was to give me better options in defence over the next few weeks. I'm looking at having to play either Dawson away to Man U and Clyne away to Chelsea this week for a start. Where I could have Vlaar home to Sunderland and a decent change of the hit paying for itself. I'd look to get back onto Spur defence in a few weeks again depending on who's the best option.

I'm probably looking to shift Townsend soon, but I'm happy enough to bench him this week and I've a feeling he may well get straight back into the team after the weekend's shambles where I read on a couple of reports that Lamela was very poor. I'm more inclined to monitor him another week or 2, given Spurs chance creating stats they must deliver soon and a goal may spark another price rise bandwagon from him too.

Any better option than Vlaar for short term 4.5 or 4.6m defender with good fixtures?

Evans would be first sub if Coloccini didn't play as he was only playing 3 at the back.
I think I'd go for Evans starting ahead of Coloccini, haven't seen much from Spurs in terms of scoring threat and I think Newcastle got to much credit for a few recent clean sheets.
That said, United don't inspire much confidence at the back either so I wouldn't be comfortable with either of them really.

Any thoughts lads? Took a few recent hits to overhaul my frontline (just in time for Lukaku, Oscar & Giroud to laugh in my face), and yup, have been chasing bandwagons to pump up my team value a bit when I've sold underperforming players like Michu etc.

    Boruc/Harper
    Mertesacker/Baker/Dawson/Fonte/Williams
    Ozil/Morrison/Januzaj/Ramsey/Lallana
    Rooney/Suarez/Aguero

You have Mertesacker, Clyne, Terry and Chester. Chances are this defender is going to start very little. I'd be looking at Joel Ward off Palace.

Pulis will tighten them up and they've just kept two clean sheets. I certainly wouldn't have anymore faith in Villa to keep clean sheets than I do in Palace.

I often look at the manager as much as the players. Pulis is a clean sheet manager. Lambert is not.

I'm keeping an eye on Gabbidon myself :)

Might be worth a punt! Not that comfortable with Newcastle or Villa defences myself. Both would be fixtures punts.

I'd agree re Villa and Newcastle. Newcastle are too inconsistent. You never know what way they are going to play.

Villa are a Lambert team and I just can't see much clean sheet potential there. I'm not even sure if Norwich managed a clean sheet his entire year with them in the PL.

3 cleanies for Norwich 2011-12; all at home: Chelsea, Bolton and Villa. Ruddy had to wait until the last game in January for his first shut-out of the season.

Thinking this over more and while I agree with the above I'm still tempted to go with Vlaar. Villa's fixtures very good, Sunderland and palace at home, Fulham, stoke away in next 6. Decent cs potential and they've shown some better defensive ability this year.

It may be a wee bit early for Palace defender buying just yet and their fixtures not brilliant.

This is for a short term shake up of defence, would not see villa a long term defence option. Permanently perplexing this fuggin game....

Edit. My mistake re Palace fixtures. Their next 7 at home are WHM, CAR, NEW, NOR, STO, HUL, WBA. Thanks to FFS for pointing that out.

Gone from chasing the top to chasing the bottom in recent weeks. Any help/tips be greatly appreciated.

    GK: Cech, Marshall
DEF: Coleman, Vertonghen, Zabaleta, Shaw, Whittaker
MID: Ozil, Ramsey, Barkley, Arnautovic, Redmond
    STR: Benteke, Lukaku, Giroud

SureYWouldntYa, do you have any money in the bank or any free transfers?

Benteke => Suarez or Aguero should be your priority!

Ah no chance. Even with a wildcard, you would not pick most of those players bar Rooney. Avoid points hits for defenders. Your goalkeepers need to be improved due to rotation and not playing every week.

Just messing around really but I do like the look of that team. The front 3 is perfect and there's plenty of goals in Wilshere, Ramsey and Lampard. My defence is cheap but cleansheets seem to be a lottery most of the time. Admittedly my keepers are just a way of saving money. Pantilimon does look to be the City no.1 for the foreseeable future though.

Currently on 700 points going into this GW. With only Liverpool playing Away (against Hull) I'm fairly confident of a decent score. Although this will be the third or fourth time I've said that and each time I've had a shocking week. No Arsenal or United attackers worries me but they are both playing away and have both played midweek, hopefully this will keep them quiet. Main worry is obviously Ramsey + Rooney.

    11gk0us.png

Will need to get rid of Reid and Brady next week in the build up to Christmas. No points hit taken this week so don't mind taking one next.

I see you've chosen Nasri.. Jesús will be disappointed :pac:

Don't worry though! He will be willing to show Nasri a thing or two about scoring goals :D

I brought in Nasri a few weeks back to replace Silva. Navas wasn't even on my radar.

Have you brought in long yet? :)
