Was hoping mine be getting "Ready for Dispatch" today as I'm in Edinburgh and Amazon have a facility only down the road.... Looks like I'll be waiting till Friday like everyone else!

First time getting a console on day one though, never been this excited for a console!

I ordered the gamer bundle maybe they were doing them first? infairness it went from ready for dispatch to dispatching straight away but is just sitting at dispatching now. Probably just one of the first batch they dispatched on the system i'm not actually getting it any earlier

Xtra vision just confirmed my console. Kill zone pack with extra controller, no camera. 499. Ashleaf are doing a midnight launch. Invite only.

I hope to get one in smyths Carrickmines also. If I do, I'll happily sell it at cost to someone.

But no word on that yet. So will let you know. Hopefully be able to help someone out.

I case any haters. Xtravision near me went bust, so I reordered with Smyths, as I figured I wouldn't get it from XV.

I waited waaaayy to late to put my preorder down. I did it in Smyths Fonthill in August. So, It'll be a waiting game for the next month.

I was told by one of the guys in there, that they had enough to fill the pre orders until the 7th of september.

Though I had just told him my pre order was on the 6th of sept, so I hope he wasn't messing with my head

If the price is really 600, it is more than you would expect to pay individually, if it is the usual 500 everywhere else is charging it is a good deal. Ordinarily I would say the original poster heard wrong BUT with all going on with XV this week, nothing would surprise me with them.

Just double cheked with them and he said €600 to me again for mega "pack" with 2 controllers, camera and Killzone. Hopefully they have got it wrong

Good news for anyone who did a late preorder with Smyths.

I thought I'd missed the boat but I just got the call. Available to collect for midnight launch Thursday. This is the Drogheda branch. They said the only stock they have for me is the Knack bundle for 440 but that's fair enough.

Booked mine early September.

Camp outside, Argos are not getting many, either are Tesco, Tesco may not even be getting any according some posters as their has been a stock delay.

The PS4 has already been taken by someone very lucky.

I'm very sorry to everybody else that PM'd but it was taken very quickly.

Hopefully everybody else, including me, gets their hands on a PS4 soon.

I'll be camping outside. What I'm going to do is show up at night check their stock and if anyone's already queueing. Then go home, sleep, get up early (say 5.30, and get there before opening.

If there's already a line of 20 people or so (I doubt it but possible), I'll just turn around and go home. If not I wait outside for them to open at 6 and then queue inside until 8am.
