I've never had any problem just calling UCD any morning I wanted to play and booking a court then.

Can't think of anywhere else that you don't have to be a member.

The Spawell have 2 courts, you can book online see what's available, 7.50 before 4pm during the week, 15 euro after 4pm, 10 euro Sat Sun, 1 hour sessions. No heating in the courts though, you can ring the driving range to book too, they also have a good box league were you'd play a match a week with others who play there.

There are also course in Della Salle boys secondary school, but only can book after school, nice courts.
Also there are nice courts in Ballyfermot.
None of these you need to be a member of.

If you need squash courts to be heated, you have no business being there :p

Well if it's 2 degrees outside, in the Spawell it's 2 degrees in there too, that's a little too cold for me, less fun too as the ball goes dead too easy, don't get me wrong, I don't like a court too hot either, just not 2 degrees!

No Meadowbrook doesn't have courts anymore... They expanded their gym earlier this year and knocked through into the courts for extra room. I dont think the courts were used for squash for a long time before the expansion.

http://squashdublin.wordpress.com/ this wouldn't be the most up to date.
Trinity has 4 courts not 2, and it doesn't mention Spawell, Ballyfermot, or Churchtown, all of which have 2 pay and play courts. Churchtown is good, they've two group coaching sessions a week and you can get one on one training to with their coach.

unless its the height of summer you should nearly always have the heat on. it keeps the ball warn and keeps it nice and lively. this is espically true for begginners and intermediate players.
