At least he admitted it now and didn't put all the victims through the torture of a trial.

This man needs help, there's obviously something extremely wrong with him.

    What?

They were in on it same as he was.

You're getting mixed up between the two teenagers he met, and the mothers of the children.

You do understand that the 2 women where acting on this of their own will, without any coercion from this guy, right?

    Edit:

Strike that, just seen this comment on a live feed:
"Both, by their pleas, admitted they have sexually abused their own children at the behest of Ian Watkins.

Do the record companies suspend royalties from the this rat? Don't tell me the albums are still available on iTunes and the like?

All outstanding proceeds should go to some children's charity.

Yes he is a scumbag who molested children, but he was one member of a band of 6, 5 of whom didn't molest children. I would sincerely doubt that they can suspend royalties and it is up to apple and other retailers if they will continue to offer their music for sale.

I'd say she means the 16 year old girls he also admitted to having sex with, easy for that to get lost in the list of charges unfortunately :(

This is a horrible case, 11 month old baby ffs. I don't understand how a parent could act like that, and where were the fathers/extended family? Surely if a child has been violently abused like that there must be some warning signs? At least he pleaded guilty to some charges and spared the jury having to watch his sick ****ing videos, being on that jury must be horribly tough going. Also, is "baby rape" seriously the best legal term they can come up with?

Oh right. I read that differently then.

The court heard in Oct 2006, Watkins met up in a hotel with a 16-year-old girl from Boston, whom he had met during during a Lostprophets concert.

She dressed in a schoolgirl's outfit and he filmed their encounter.

In Oct 2008 he filmed himself having sex with another 16-year-old girl, who was also a Lostprophets fan.

It's not very clear from the article whether these were the same women who made their children available to him.

The remaining members can agree to have all their royalties donated to charities

but they probably wont because they're an utterly **** excuse for a band who had a kiddie fiddler as a singer.

There's a 3 year age difference between them now so it is possible and honestly it makes sense. As far as that term applies to anything to do with this case like.

ah come off it. There's been no link made that they were involved, or aware of it. The whole scandal has ruined their careers.

I actually feel ill reading that.

I can't even comprehend how anyone could do that, both sexually abusing a babies and "making their baby available" for a ****ing paedo.

Im disgusted, absolutely vile and evil thing to do.

Yes they can agree, but they can't be forced to. They aren't guilty of anything (other than crimes against music) and I would sincerely doubt that they would give up their main source of income. Would you donate your wages to charity if one of your close colleagues was found guilty of the same?

    a) they were in a band with a sex offender for how many years and had no inkling what he was like, yeah fair enough if you believe that, I don't

    b) the f**ker was arrested ages ago and rather than disband straight away they hedge their bets until just before it goes to trial.

    Miserable morally dubious f**kwits

Are you serious!? Cop on like! Why the hell would they even think about giving up anything?

And Ian Watkins won't have to give up anything either, if he gets released from prison he'll still be a millionaire, and still get royalties from Lost Prophets till he dies. Actually.. even after death I believe. The law is you cannot profit from a crime, not your profits before a crime are to be donated away....

    A) You'd be surprised about how much you don't know about those around you everyday.

    B) As a band, they'd be 1 entity to whoever they have various contracts (Gigs, Merchandising, Recording), all which come with obligations. They'd need to have seeked legal advice prior to announcing a split, to determine any penalties and what would be the best approach for them out of it.

You are truly something piece of work, if you think 5 other people who weren't involved should suffer due to this.

The band part aside do you realise how often that happens? People work with or live next to paedophiles or serial killers for years without realising, I doubt he was going around saying "hey look at that sexy baby? Do you guys like raping kids, coz I do!". He kept it secret for years, why not say his family should have to donate their income to charity, fair chance they were closer with him than his ****ty bandmates

Hang on, why should they? As far as we know, they knew nothing at all about the sick stuff he was up to. They were living their dream, writing (no very good) songs and performing around the world.

They don't deserve to suffer any more than I'm sure they are already.

Never said they were guilty of anything other than being gutless c**ts who should be treated with contempt.
