I know some people on here are in favour of them, but IMO even 4 point hits are a no-no unless they're necessary. 8+ point hits are just crazy, would rarely pay off and even if they did it's blind luck.
By and large I have found this game to be about playing the odds, and knee-jerk reactions involving multiple point hits is certainly not that.

I've done this. Hazard goes up, Ozil goes down. Will be hoping for another blank from Ozil/Ramsey next week though. Lightening can strike twice can't it?

You'd hope not. My plan then is to take a hit next week to get Walcott in. Unfortunately the only way to get him in will be Terry out...........
But Arsenal attacking cover is more of a neccessity than Chelsea defensive cover

I'll be laughing next week when Navas scores 12 goals.

    You'll see. YOU'LL ALL SEE.

I think you can safely justify a 32 point hit. Parlance has stated the obvious with Kagawa above, but it's important to note that Gabbidon has started to hit form. And lets be honest, it's crazy to ignore Bannan, Parker and N'Zonzi any longer. Quickly becoming 'must haves.'

Tempted to switch out Boruc for Pantillimon - had been planning Mignolet but MC fixtures looks great and Pantillimon looks like he might be in for a few more weeks??

He looks it, but I'm convinced the week I bring him in he won't play.

And I have no sub keeper.

12 goals....I'd jump on board if he scored a goal every 450 seconds in his next game... As long as he got the full 90 obviously ;)

I'm going to give Ozil one more week. He'll probably go for Walcott then. I'm mindful of last year where I dropped Cazorla before his big haul against Reading.

Taking him out for Walcott was the right move in the end but it still stung at the time.

Ozil was unlucky yesterday. If Ramsey had scored he'd have had an assist and he was only 3 minutes off the pitch when Arsenal got the penalty. Wenger confirmed yesterday he's second choice penalty taker and Giroud third.

Aguero & Morrison for Rooney and adnan. The way utd are going I think I can do without any utd cover for the next 2 wks(spurs & Everton)

    Harper out for Speroni

    Lovren out for Skirtel.

Allows me to Play Skirtel for Hull (A), Norwich (H) and Westham(H) and Rotate Speroni with Boruc to avail of Norwich (A), West Ham(H) or Villa (H), Cardiff (H)

    No hit- two frees.

Team will now line out next week as

    Speroni,

    Skirtel, Zabaletta, Coleman, Terry

    Morrison, Ozil, Ramsey

With a forward line of Suarez, Augerio and Giroud

Will bench Lallana, Dawson and Brady.

Team Value 106.8 . Nothing left in bank

Don't forget we have Champions league and Europa league matches this week too. If somebody like Navas or Walcott got injured it could scupper a plan or two.

Gonna be a boring transfer for me. Faye out for someone cheap. probably vlaar. I'll still be stuck with kolo toure but I'd like to give him one more week in case he comes back into pool team. And then dawson will get the door. I'm moving back towards my successful formula of last 2 years. All cheap playing defenders 3 big MIDs and 3 top strikers....I made a sh*t of my team with the wildcard this year blinded by the new bp system regarding defenders. I'm slowly getting my team the way I want it

    8 point hit done.

Time to step away from the computer..

Dropping Ozil to allow funds for Augerio.

    Fine.

You dropped Vidic, Ozil and Giroud (who is about to go on a kind run of fixtures and just bagged a brace) so destroyed any Arsenal cover bar Ramsey.

Remy to Augerio was roughly 8 to 12.

    Ozil is 10ish.

So you could have just done Ozil to Sess for example and Remy to Augerio allowing a forward line of Augerio, Suarez and Giroud for a 4 point hit.

    I think you is mad.

Quick vote - Aguero or Suarez? I have neither but am about to buy one of them this week, the other possibly in 3/4 weeks time.

My forward line is currently Remy, Lukaku, Sturridge.

Who would you buy and who would you ditch?

BTW, my current thinking is to buy Suarez, as Aguero is more likely to be rested with Europe in mind.

City are already through so Aguero will be rested in Europe I'd say:

Is nasri worth keeping, didn't see the game. Was he up to much

City scored six goals and he had no involvement in any of them, although he hit the bar. Think this could go down as one of my worse punts.

I think Silva getting injured was actually bad for him despite confirming gametime. Nasri could've been Navas today if Silva were fit.

Didn't see much of the game today as I was watching the rugby but Nasri wasn't getting in the box enough for me in the Sunderland game.

He always seemed to be hanging back, waiting to knock it back in when it got cleared.

If he's playing that kind of role he's no good to me.

Looking at replacing Townsend, 6.8 to buy and Sess looks the best option

I thought so too watching that game but I think the same about Oscar.

Then every time I think about selling him he scores big!

Nothing on the FPL site to suggest it, what makes you think that?

Not a double game week, but there are two rounds in the week. One starts next Sat (29th) and another Tue (3rd)

I didn't see the game nor did I know Ozil was 2nd on penos. I wish you hadn't posted that. I captained him this week as I read to much into my trio of forwards opposition rather than their form.
I'm thinking the same thing re Ozil to Walcott in a week or so BUT I also have an itch to work my way to an Ozil + Walcott combo for some time now, and it's not going away despite poor enough Ozil form and no Walcott this last while.
