Cheers, my tracking number is not showing anything yet. Have a brass nemesis clone and trident ordered since the 21 Oct.

Does the HKP site say anything about your order, I know the number isn't working but does it say they received it?

Nothing at all, seems to be the norm for FT orders made during Oct. Not too bothered really but hopefully I'll have it for Christmas.

Hi to all the regular posters here. I'm Dave, in Cork, and a total vaper newbie.
I've been reading here over the last week as well as watching some video reviews. After 30 (omg... thirty) years of smoking 10-15 roll-ups a day I just have to find some way of giving my blackened lungs a break.

I just ordered an Innokin mvp2 with 1.6 clearos from e-smokingireland, plus a random half dozen juices mostly strong (18 mg) tobacco types with an orange one and a chocolate one to try.
Should get that Monday or Tuesday.

Getting my head around the jargon, acronyms, variety of battery/dispenser or kit options has taken many hours!
I'm really hoping that "vaping" is going to replace the roll-ups completely or almost so.

I thought I'd post this now just to say a warm thankyou to all the regular posters here for helping me to make the jump with all the tips and info I've picked up (including a 10% discount code!).

I'll let you know how I get on when the kit arrives.
    So, thanks again :), Dave

Good luck with the changeover Dave, you can't go far wrong with the mvp2. The amount of withdrawal seems to vary from individual to individual, personally I went through hell and chain vaped for about a week. Feel so much better for it though, like a new lease of life. :)

Ordered some Mom and Pop eLiquid there, which I've heard good things about. I've decided I only really like fruity or minty flavours, so I'm pretty excited to try Scuba's Orange.

    Thanks dePeatrick.
Luckily I'm based at home these days and not going to work so if I end up chain-vaping, so be it!

Even after all the reading I did I was still only guessing with the eliquids. As a rolly smoker (albeit "light" tobacco) I figured I'd start with 18mg though I've got a couple at 12mg nicotine. I've ordered 6x10 ml and will have 4 2ohm coils for the iclear16s, so from what I've read here I should manage chain vaping for at least a week before I need to order more! (ie hopefully I've bought 10 days' supplies at least)

The total bill was €77 which is two weeks+ of roll-ups so if at some point I've not bought any tobacco for 2 weeks then I will consider this experiment a success in money terms. I've been a smoker for so long and the 'take a break-have a coffee-pint+a fag' psychology has a real grip on me I can hardly imagine not being a smoker, there's something about roll ups too...

It might transpire after enough years of widespread e-cig use have passed that science shows negative associations with regular inhalation of propylene glycol etc, but even if that is shown or proven it surely cannot match the toxins and tar from from tobacco.
My lungs must look like sponges soaked in used engine oil by this stage... being a regular vapour inhaler surely cannot be as bad as that. I can virtually smell the Fag Companies passing brown envelopes to the politicians to regulate + tax e-cigs, the tax lossses will be huge when (not if) vaping goes mainstream... so I'll be reading scientific articles with an eye open for bias.

Funnily enough my trigger to have a go at vaping now was a recent flurry of visits to the dentist, especially the hygenist (2 years since the last visit). She seemed to be going at my teeth with a paint-scraper, "do you smoke rollies?" she asked... she had to have two pretty industrial sessions at my tarred-up stumps! Now that, and the €100 extra cost, I could do without!!

I've got the weekend to get psyched-up to the idea of abandoning the rollies, so thanks for the 'good luck' I'll probably be needing it.

Three of the tobacco juices I've ordered are the Danish 'Basement Brew' tobacco range which I've not read a comment on here, that's what I'll be chain-vaping on while my fingers reach for rizla papers next week! I'll report back. Cheers.

I found the Scuba orange a bit meh in the flavour department. Pink Tiger (one of Wingnuts range from Esi) is a really nice fruit with a hint of menthol.

Rarevintage, try and watch a few vids on utube about the mvp and iclear 16s so when it arrives you can hit the ground running so to speak.

Well...I smoked Rollie's for the last ten years or so....."the healthier alternative" or so I told myself, before that....everything from Gitane to Gold Bond....Rollie's not as addictive as Marlboro/Camel/Lucky Strike......something else in them but from a few Benson I had smoked from other people in recent times was beginning to wonder if they had become the same........something else even more addictive...

I used 24mg to start and moved to 18 but had to move back to 24mg again.....will stay on it for a while now and see...

If you feel you are going mad while changing over, rest assured you are.....one quick look around at the vapers here and you will quickly realise that people can use a computer even......with a straitjacket on...difficult I know but it is amazing just how flexible the human can be with a biro in their mouth muttering something about personal vaping device........

Personally my work here is done, I am returning to the planet I came from firmly assured that all smokers are now a generation ahead of their forefathers......I will return........:D

If you want to try a non-tobacco , I recommend this irish juice . Very rich but not too sweet

    Best of luck.

Thanks for that, I haven't watched any beginners vids just some reviews of kit. Some of the characters are hilarious! Thinking of "Indoorsmokers" for one... I'll look up andrewwvids.

I've read a few references to juices being unpleasant at first but changing after a few days of being opened, would this be generally true or more so for certain brands/fruit vs tobacco/ratio of pg-vg?
With wine it's very true of some ('breathing') but unnoticeable with others...

I've got 6 different 10mls coming, 4 tobacco & 2 fruity. Should I open them all to get them breathing? I will only have 2 clearos so I won't be sampling more than 2 of them at first.
Or is this "steeping" malarkey more an indication of being consumed by the minutiae of the vaping hobby and going a bit ott? Or a cry for help as their minds spin off into the outer reaches of sanity? ;)

Im not an expert on juice by any means, I'm more into the cheap and cheerful dekang variety :-) I think its generally the more expensive 'hand made with love' juices that require steeping.

I suppose its a case of suck it and see and if you dont like it then steep it in a dark cool place without the cap with nothing that could taint the flavour like cabbage or old runners as someone did a while ago!

Im sure someone more experienced with the steeping process will pipe up soon :-)

Hi, thought I'd give a quick yet thorough review on Eir Horse B H..... Ok before I quit the dreaded weed I was smoking Amber Leaf Tobacco, so naturally I was looking for a similar Tasting and TH liquid, sooooo my voyage of discovery began....... Roll forward 10 months and I've found it, now I'm not saying it is perfect replica off Amber Leaf(to be honest I forget what any of that filthy tobacco tastes like)but it quite simply is a perfect medium to all the liquids I've tried and tested up to now(and I aint searchin any more).... It has a lovely cloudy vapour, it has what seems to be the perfect TH for what should be a strong cigarette, it tastes great somewhere in between good tobacco flavour and mildly very mildly caramelly, also and what I'm very impressed with it is very easy on the coil.... so give it a go and with unbeatable value and free shipping you cant go wrong http://www.electronic-cigarette.ie/i...ct&prod_id=315 also 'Eight Star' in the same shop, in the 'Silver Dekang' section is really good to, a lil bit harder on the coil but no more than any other.... I'd also like to say if you where a 'strong cigarette' smoker or tobacco smoker, these 2 will satisfy you......... Also I thought I'd post this here just for all you smokers who are not sure about the success off Electronic Cigarettes. Sure if only one of you make the move, I'll be Happy

    Thanks a mil Ardle.
I haven't even received my kit yet to start vaping but I'm already putting my second shopping list together!!
I'll be starting off with the iclear 1.6 clearos (supplied with the Innokin mvp2 I went for as a home-use battery) but I've been persuaded by Andrewwvids review to put a bottom coil Aspire on my list. When I'm looking to buy some more juice I'll give that Eirhorse BH a go, appreciate the tip from a former rolly smoker - thanks.

Your doing the right thing,I smoked 150g of Old Holborn per week for 50 years,15 of those years was black market crap but it was affordable.I was that bad that I couldn't sleep at night with the noise of my chest with wheezing & coughing,a friend in Germany put me onto vaping,I never heard of it before,I did try those ecig lookalike cigarettes & they were ****,so I was wondering at the time of how people can give up smokes & using these pathetic ecigs but my friend told me to get a powerful mod like the MVP you have & the dual coil tanks with the carto & fill with 24mg to 36mg strength of eliquid,we skyped eachother & I watched him putting all this together,it is alot easier to watch somebody rather than reading something.Anyway my chest has cleared up completely,it was clear in about 3 months, was I happy & never put any weight on (info for newbie Ladies).
I started off with a Umax mod,not a Vmax but a Umax,I have never seen these advertised & I am still using it after 3 years, the voltage is 3v to 6v,the same as a Vmax.
I use iclear16's but you have to fill them up quite often,I use these with an ego twist when I'm out & about & at home I use iclear30 on my stronger mods, like a MVP,Tesla,Innokin 134,Vocano Lavatube V2 & VTR & alot more of them,my favorite ones are the Mechanical mods that I use on sub Ohm rebuilds, that is something you will enjoy doing at a later stage as you are at home every day,it's turned into a big hobby for me as I have time on my hands.
Even after 3 years vaping,I am still looking for good eliquids,my favorite all day vape is French Pipe made by Liqua at 24mg & my second is Dekang Bubble Gum mixed with Dekang Raspberry,I mix alot of eliquids, another mix is Red(marlboro) + Camel + Bubble Gum,a lovely tastes & an excellent throat hit.
The past few weeks I have been trying out these new Clearo's with Bottom Dual Coil heads made by Aspire,I have tried 4 different types & I find that they are on the same par as some of the single bottom coil clearo's,the Vision Victory 5ml bottom coils are a great vape,I use these on a Innokin vv/vw itaste v3,great throat hit at 4.2v,throat hit also depends on what ejuice you use,my best clearo is the iclear 30,no tilting of mod & never had a dry hit,I have cleaned & dry burned these iclear30 heads at least 3 or 4 times,I clean every 2 to 3 tankfuls,so I am getting approx 10 tanks of liquid to one head.I have been trying the new iclear30s for the past couple of weeks & these are just as good as the iclear30,the disadvantage at the moment is that I can't clean or dry burn these 30s,you just vape until the head dies,as I don't keep to vaping the same device all day,it is hard to work out how long these heads last,in my bedroom I have 5 vv devices with all different fluids & the bathroom has 4,I have them all over the place:D:D
Maybe it has something to do with my urge for nicotine,I still need it,I believe if I went to the loo without a nicotine hit beside me,I would s**t myself:D:Dthe nerves would start rattling.
I'm starting to really ramble now:D Just keep watching those Vaping Utube videos.
I hope some of these words have helped you a bit.

    Nice ramble :)
As I've been on my tod for a couple of days I quite liked a bit of ramble!

Sounds like you could become a vaper-second-hand-shop with all the kit you have... haha!

itaste vv/vw v3 -- if you were away from a power source (out somewhere) how long would that last before the battery got too low?
-- I'm (already!) thinking of an "at the pub" kit that's easier to carry than the mvp, so the v3, with a bigger clearo (the Aspire bdc you mentioned, the glass one), looks like it might fit the bill.
What do you think? Would I get a night out of it from fully charged? Obviously there's a lot of variables, but as a general thing...

I reckon a fully charged one while sitting in an area where they allow vaping & enjoying many pints & many vapes would last you a good 4 hours but if you are in the bar & popping in & out,I would say about 6 hours, they are a perfect size & you wouldn't notice it in your pocket, that is why I carry two of them, because you never know when the atty head decides to keel over.I always take a spare Aspire ET-S BDC Atomizer as well, they are a bottom dual coil clearo with a very small glass window, there are two colours, stainless steel or black, the stainless steel one is a beauty, here's a link to the type I mean...http://www.vaperus.ie/clearomizer/408-aspire-et-s.html you can get it here as well http://www.e-smokeireland.eu/product-p/etsbdc.htm

    @Ardle
    Wow, a kind offer!

I think this qualifies as a "random act of kindness" which a blind monk I met in my childhood, and who I guided to a place in Venice because I saw that he looked lost (being blind and lost in Venice is surely dangerous!), anyway, he told me it was a sure way to heaven. As he spoke perfect English the conversation turned to the metaphysical dilemma of me being atheistic... I could go on as this experience (I was 13) has stayed with me.
So I'll take you up on your kind offer and owe you a metaphysical pint ;)

    "I carry two of them"
    Haha, should have guessed ;)

So an 800mah itaste vv/vw should be good for 4-6 hours... sounds good for me in the pub. 2 clearos makes sense, you mean a filled unit (not just a spare atomiser head) I take it - any chance of that leaking, loose in a pocket? Or do you mean a spare empty clearo and a small bottle to fill it with..?

What might compete with the itaste vv/vw for pub convenience, with the same battery life..?

I'd fill it up,these things wont leak or you could carry a ucan which is stainless steel & holds 10ml juice & can fit on your key ring,I carry one with my keys.Have a look here....

Oh no! You've reminded me of the shiny Ucan steel bottle! I even watched a video review of it a week ago... Yes! I spent 10 minutes watching a video about a small shiny tin, wtf is happening to me?!

Blast it, I'll have to put one on my list now...

I just tried a Fizzy Lemonade 20mg from Wingnuts Premium & vaped it from an Aspire BDC Viva Nova & it was amazing,it is the perfect taste of white lemonade with the fizzyness, unbelievable taste.
My first time using Aspire BDC VivaNova & after a few hours vaping,I had to pull the post on it,which should only happen when disconnecting & connecting,it was attached to the 134.

:D:D:D:D This vaping is becoming an addiction with me,one month I go mad when I see any good looking mods, once I see it & I get a review on it,I've got to get it,this month I've gone crazy again on newer liquids, before last month I was happy buying 10ml bottles of fluid for a max price of 4.50 & less,I got it into my head that the more expensive liquids were better until I tried them out, they were not as good as some of the cheaper ones,I got them from http://www.houseofliquid.ie/category-s/1840.htm I bought 10 bottles of different juices,I liked two of them But I wouldn't buy them again,25 euro for 30ml,too expensive for me,I'll stick with Liqua & Wingnuts. There is a vaping shop in my hometown http://www.vaporium.eu/prestashop/ & I find his juices are expensive for me,I went mad one day & bought half a doz of them, the only thing I had against them was the price & no throat hit,he only sells 18mg & lower, which is no good for me,probably suit others.I don't shop there much,I find alot things cheaper elsewhere.

Oh yeah,I just ordered a Kross vv stainless pipe,I saw the review by Todd in the shed & I wanted it & that was it:D:D:D:D

I saw in another thread that you have a Ucan, watched a video about it but it did not answer two questions I had about it and I have not got the patience for another badly edited waffle video....(some are sooooo....bad)

What volume of liquid does it dispense each time you press the plunger?
Does the plunger get pressed while in your pocket and if so does this create a mess of liquid under the cap?
