PS4 Pre-Order Thread! Where are you getting yours?

I just ordered a blue and red controller off GS.UK .There only £40 each ...thats cheap. I'm getting them sent to my Parcel Motel address using standard RM post for free ...sweet.

For the X1 I have a delivery date of the 22nd/23rd. I know the 23rd won't happen but they still have not shipped it. I can't see me getting it by the 22nd now as they should have sent it today. They ship GTAV 4 days early though.:mad:

The quickest, most expensive one, 2 day courier to Ireland. Tried to change my address to the Parcel Motel in Belfast 2 weeks ago but the system on Amazon would not let me. Not happy right now, was looking forward to a weekend with the X1.

I have a 4 day weekend booked for the PS4 next week though and it's ordered through GS, they sent out X1s today with next day delivery so some may have it in their hands tomorrow. Finger crossed I have a PS4 on the 28th.:)

The X1 was more of an impulse buy but got more excited for it as the release date got closer.

I have 2 day to Ireland as well,with Friday/Saturday estimate for delivery,Im kinda worried now lol especially if they haven't shipped yours yet :-\

i see harvey norman are getting a PS4 into blanch this weekend for a pre-launch demo thing, might head over check it out

A couple of us on here have our orders with them, it appears they started making calls yesterday, I haven't heard from them yet but another lad has, I'm going to ring them this morning, was in with them last week and they claimed all preorders where still guaranteed

Im having my doubts about harvey norman.. everything is pointing to launch day but just going in yesterdsy to pay the balance the cashier was like I hope you were one of the first, she couldnt tell me anything about launch day nor could the duty manager..

I didnt order until maybe 4-5 weeks ago and have been assured/reassured every step of tge way it will be launch day but after witnessing the fiassco that will be the xb1 launch in limerick im certainly not gonna get my hopes up on a launch day console

Amazon must have fairly accurate estimates at this stage of their stock up to Christmas. The gamer pack is no longer available for preorder

I hope my one arrives before Christmas as they have assured me.

I am in the same situation. I have been wondering to myself if it is worth talking with Amazon support to get the delivery address changed to Parcel Motel.

Blanch rang me yesterday, said I will have my playstation on launch day. Asked did I want to reserve games etc as they where selling fast

No one seems to have that info for a fact, I have asked in Smyths and they are either purposely vague or genuinely don't have that information themselves, but I reckon there will be a few more batches delivered before christmas, manufacturing of the consoles is a constant process so I would imagine delivering them would be fairly constant too.

That's because of a glitch , I contacted customer service and they were able to change my address to Parcel Motel NI.

They have been taking orders since around June, it just took people awhile to cope that they were actually taking them.

Just got of the phone from my local Harvey Norman they said I will get the ps4 kill zone bundle on launch day that it ordered a few weeks ago online

Any one thinking of upgrading to a new hard drive ?.

Heres a good 1tb 7200 speed at a great price,best around . I was gonna buy it ,but I'le wait till the new yr. This drive meets all the specs for the PS4.

That is a good price alright. I want a new HDD now but there is a 2tb one out next year.

nice price but im going to go for a 1TB hybrid drive in a few months. maybe even a 2TB if theyre gone down in price a good bit. could you reccomend one? i could then save it in my favourites

Waiting on the 2TB hybrid drives myself before I upgrade. I think the 500GB drive will do me for a little while yet.

It's at least guaranteed to end up in NI by Friday. I've only ordered with Parcel Motel once before and it arrived Friday evening, just a few hours after being checked in up North.

I'm in the exact same situation too. Paid for 1 or 2 day delivery to Ireland.

I have a four day weekend booked. I'd change it to Parcel Motel if I knew it wouldn't make Friday, rather than wait until Monday.

I might talk to support,I remember I got the D3 Collectors from amazon on release day by courier and I paid for 2 day delivery that time too.
