    Humans are born into genders, the most common of which are male and female. Less commonly there are chromosome mutations with extra X and Y chromosomes and some can at a stretch be classed as unique sexes.
    Nothing you do is going to change that, no surgery or therapy is going to change your gender.

What a transgender person will often do is have hormone therapy, and that does indeed cause significant physical change in the body.

    Anyway...
    Comparisons to 'otherkin' are ridiculous, nearly always presented as a false-equivalence, or similar to how people who are against gay people marrying say "it'll lead to people marrying dogs and toasters!" a slippery-slope fallacy. No, if we understand and accept that transsexuality is an inborn trait or condition, it doesn't follow that we have to accept what that brony on tumblr says about themselves. One doesn't lead to the other, and I'm pretty sure that the majority of those folks on tumblr are taking the piss. If we actually compare situations seriously, there's no comparable situation where a fetus develops with the brain of a fox or a giraffe or whatever. So it's not a comparison one can make.

    Do you see someone playing the submissive as rape? You do realize that submissive are usually the doms in a relationship, if that makes any sense.

    You know, I think we'd have a more equal society if both sides stop taking snide swipes at the other side.

    I don't much care for his "mate" schtick and personal comments he's made elsewhere to me. I've asked him to stop, he won't. I'd say the same thing to anyone here of any gender who was annoying me. Being bisexual and all.

    I wonder, do you believe that people who don't identify as heterosexual can be homophobic? EG: Saying they don't like the gay men who identify as queer?

    Dunno about "politically correct" but my friend's auntie gave her a scolding before for referring to a bus lane as a bus lane, because it's a "Quality Bus Corridor", or QBC for short.

    Old Hippy can relax I'm not going to rape him...I don't need to resort to rape to get my point across. I can see a future AH thread 'What's the most extreme response you've gotten on Boards?' and my contribution will be: 'some guy said I threatened to rape him.'

    Dave, since you breezed in here a few days ago, you repeatedly racially abused the Japanese, dismissed Sweden because women responded via art to sexual abuse and drive by posted the abortion forum.
