Hang on, he said "revelations" then later says allegations. Which were they?
Cant be revelations unless they are true.

My bleeding gawd, he is 44  (I'd have guessed 64)

    What a legend.

On St. Patrick's Day in March 2012, Ford was "very intoxicated" at City Hall and a downtown restaurant. According to those attending, Ford held a "wild party" in his office. Ford knocked down a staffer, insulted others, then went to the BierMarkt restaurant. After "flailing around" on the restaurant's dance floor, Ford returned to City Hall by cab, making racial slurs to the driver. The Mayor then wandered around City Hall after 2 AM with a bottle of brandy, swearing at his staffer Earl Provost before security arranged for him to be taken home.

Patrick Stewart, on the Daily Show, wonders whether "maybe these guys (Ford, Weiner et al) aren't politicians at all, but rather comedians with bad scriptwriters" ...

Government resting upon the will and universal suffrage of the people has no anchorage except in the people's intelligence.

    What a legend.

    .
Nothing makes a man more of a legend than a few racial slurs, eh.

It's almost as if Peter Griffin became real.

I have to find out more about this man, he's comedy gold.

I don't understand why he hasn't quit. There's got to be a point when, no matter how stupid you are, you've got to realise the game is up.

I saw the video of him accidentally knocking over that lady.

"He ran into that woman, grabbed her and threw her to the ground". Get real! He accidentally ran into her and caught onto her, held to try and stop her fall and picked her up. He then apologised.

He should resign for smoking craic. But he speaks some truths. The media with hunt is getting ridiculous and make me feel support for him

Ford also specifically denied the allegations of sex and a comment about oral sex made to a staff member, and that a woman who attended the St. Patrick's Day night party was a prostitute. "It hurts my wife when they call a friend of mine a prostitute. Alana is not a prostitute. She's a friend. And it makes me sick how people are saying this." He added "The last thing is (former staffer) Olivia Gondek. It said I want to eat her pussy. I've never said that in my life to her. I would never do that. I'm happily married. I've got more than enough to eat at home."
Lol, I'll give him this, at least his yarns are entertaining.

Indeed. But what about the sh1tty stuff he's doing in his public life? Lol at the "He's a legend" bandwagon-jumping. Yet you no doubt wet your pants over Cowen being drunk.

It is a witch hunt by the powerful and elite in Toronto to get him simple as that, and yes he is a legend, because he got stuff done in Toronto like taking away a lot of the expenses councilors claimed for and saved the taxpayers hundreds of millions as his time as mayor, a overall great guy who likes to have a good time at the weekend instead of some idiot who spouts **** but does not care about the people, but hey you prefer someone who is false and full of ****, and who heaven forbids is not afraid of being non P.C and saying stuff like (hold on to the rosary beads) Pussy on t.v.

    I do? Based on... nothing.

But anyway, he's not a "legend", no for:
Ford knocked down a staffer, insulted others, then went to the BierMarkt restaurant... Ford returned to City Hall by cab, making racial slurs to the driver. The Mayor then wandered around City Hall after 2 AM with a bottle of brandy, swearing at his staffer Earl Provost before security arranged for him to be taken home.
But it makes ya feel kinda bad-ass to say he's a legend I'm sure. Yes, it's all made up and a "witch-hunt" - thaaaaaat's right.

In fairness, the above are commendable - but it's his thuggish behaviour and doing stuff in public that would land ordinary folk in jail that you're saying makes him a legend; no point pretending otherwise.

And what about what I quoted, where he just acted like a dick but according to you it made him a legend? It is possible to have a good time and not be afraid of offending people while also not resorting to verbally abusing people and getting physically aggressive.

Hey he got drunk and done stuff that in the clean light of day he would not do, happens us all, and most people if it happened me or you would not drag it up again but because he is in the spotlight every little thing he does is under the microscope.

Nah, most people don't verbally abuse others/become physically aggressive when drunk. It isn't just a little thing - and it was in public so it hardly had to be put under a microscope. Plus, it's just not on by a public official.
You're very poorly defending the indefensible and it's silly. I bet you wouldn't forgive a fraction of the above by an Irish politician.

He does himself no favours though. Stupid things like reading while driving on the Gardiner Expressway, breaking election rules etc

As Mayor of Toronto his job is not only the usual run of business and economics for the city, it's also to represent Toronto and uphold its image nationally and internationally. As well as maintaining public confidence in his Office and kind of goes without saying, staying on the right side of the law.

Cameo appearances in crack videos with hardened criminals, incoherent rants & murder threats, countless public events he rocked up to absolutely gee-eyed, flipping the bird at random citizens at busy intersections and generally flipping out at the drop of a hat, often wasting valuable City Hall time with his issues to the detriment of Councillors' and taxpayers' issues - not exactly the best way of doing that.

It's becoming increasingly difficult to take him and his Dumb and Dumber double act with his brother Doug seriously. Here's another ridiculous interview:

Get out of it, you havent a clue what your talking about, i bet you like your elected reps to be the smiling angles in front of camera and to take backhanders and screw the office they work for, says a lot for the way Ireland is in at the moment, camera perfects while behind the scenes doing untold damage, ALA Bertie Ahern.
