I sent them an email regarding my order. Here's my story:

* On the 31st of October I pre-ordered the solus pack presuming I could upgrade to a bundle. From reading Boards it seemed I missed the deadline so I queried it with Amazon.

* Later that day they replied that I missed the deadline and that I would only get the solus pack. I then cancelled tha order on the 31st as it doesn't represent good value to me.

* Last night I got an email around 1900 sayiong I could pre-order a bundle.

* I then pre-ordered the gamer's pack last night around 2100.

So do I get into the queue that will get it after release date but before Christmas or will I be penalised and get it after Christmas as I pre-ordered (and swiftly cancelled) the solus on the 31st of October??

Confused.

It would be a bit unfair to penalise me for an impulse buy I think seeing as I really wasn't working the system as I was told back then that I couldn't get a bundle.

I ordered ghosts & AC with Amazon.co.uk and used parcel motel as address this is my first time using PM. Ghosts was dispatched on 14th with delivery date of today. So I'm wondering when should I receive it off PM? I chose the NI address for delivery.

I got update on Amazon today to a KZ bundle which I didn't order - they just upgraded it at their own free will. It's for release day and have also an (alleged) release day same KZ bundle at 40euros cheaper) with Harvey Norman. Don't want to end up with two consoles but not sure I'll get either - which to trust? Shop down the road or online postage from Amazon who've already messed up my pre-order twice now from August?

Amazon (and maybe other retailers) are making this way too complicated altogether.

Amazon conditions are like a test in conditional logic! Should be a test for first year software development students! ;-)

I emailed Amazon about my preorder. I ordered on the 7th of November nut I didn't see the bundle tab until today. I ordered the Killzone bundle again but I emailed them to see if I could change my first one to the bundle.

I leave my Phone down for two minutes and they ring. Hope they ring back.

Thanks, I pre-ordered in Carrickmines. They also said they wouldn't be doing a midnight release and said because people weren't generally aware they were selling the PS4 from the start, they may have had less pre-orders. Let's hope it's true.

I'm in the same boat as you DaveyLad. Will the amazon order be dispatched early and in my safe hands by the 29th?

Do they deliver on Saturdays?

I changed my delivery to work address in case it comes the 29th but will not be in work on Saturday...

Amazon don't deliver on Saturday in Ireland, only the UK. If you used Parcel Motel and used their Antrim address you would increase your chances of getting it on the Saturday.

I'll find out next week as I have an Xbox 1 pre-ordered with them and the delivery date say the 22nd using the express delivery option. It's too late for me to change to Parcel Motel without canceling my order and making a new one though.:( I'll see if they ship early and if I get in on Friday.

As far as I know the only way you'll have it delivered on a Saturday is if you used Parcel Motel, but It'll be shipped on the 28th I think. I'm not cancelling my Amazon order til I get my Harvey Norman one in my hands

I got a 99.9% launch day spiel.....................................paid online in full early oct, blanch too

Dont know if already posted but if you're looking, ASDA Direct still has some PS4s with promise of release day delivery.

Psn membership code for 14 days only after that its 50 for the year. One remote with it only.
Id suggest reading the last few pages if u want to know how to a get ps4 before xmas.

That 14 day code was/is only for US consoles. I watched one UK unboxing and there was no PSN+ code in the box.

I'm jealous of all you guys who have yer ps4 consoles paid off, just forked out €3,000 in college fees and still have to pay €400+ games. Gonna be financially crippled in 2 weeks. Totally worth it though :pac:
