      Probably a silly question, but do you think there is any chance of getting one this side of Christmas without pre-ordering? Somewhere like Amazon maybe?

      Amazon definitely your best bet at this stage, unless you fancy waiting til after release day and paying big money on ebay!!!

      I'd recommending pre-ordering now on Amazon and seeing how you get on. It may be your best option.

      That, or like mentioned here several times, camp outside Argos/Tesco nice and early. You can always cancel your Amazon order if it hasn't dispatched if you get one in Argos/Tesco

      Nice one, I'm in no mad rush to get it, was just wondering. be nice to get it for Xmas day, I'm buggin' for some BF4!

      Defo, but don't neglect yourself. I got it for the PS3 and will be upgrading it for the few quid for the PS4 version when it comes to it.

      Yeah I thought about it, but I don't mind grinding BF3 for another little bit till I get it on Ps4, plus I'm still playing through GTA, and I have a ridiculous backlog from PS+ to get through too

      I told myself as soon as I knew I was getting the PS4 that I wouldn't buy any more PS3 games, I would put the money towards the PS4 and get the games on that instead. I stuck to it, but when I found out Batman would not be coming out on the PS4 I was annoyed.

      Yep, he says that every month, have been no production hitches either, so they are on track with their estimates.

      Amazon order finally updated, the price is still the the same and there's no estimated delivery date yet. Price should update soon and hopefully I'll get a date.

      I pre-ordered the PS4 on the day that HMV re-opened in Dundrum September (12th).
      Anyone know if I will be getting this before Christmas?

      This is the 1st time i've decided to get a console on launch day. ( i'm 30 ) it's an early Birthday present for myself :D

      I feel like a kid.. I just can't wait to get it ;)

      I wonder when amazon will take the money for my preorder i'm getting one on launch day with 2 day delivery just want to make sure i've the money in my account ha. Its usually when something is ready to be dispatched isnt it? so i'm assuming the 29th?

      As far as I know if you're getting a launch console they'll be shipping on the 28th, the theory you'd have it on the 29th, If i was you id I have the money there on the 27th just to be sure!!

      Anyone looking for one before Christmas, Shopto.net just changed their description from guaranteed day 1 to guaranteed before Christmas, so their first batch must be all sold out, but a guarantee before Christmas is a good call!

      Absolutely. They wont dispatch and then take the money. Personally I'd have the money there before the 27th.

      Yay its PS4 day, well sort of got my call from Gamestop yesterday evening to come in today @6pm to completely pay off the system and receive a number for midnight launch tonight. Mines already paid off so just need to arrive in and get my number. Happy days 18hrs 54mins to go
