I would say you are lowering your chances significantly if you were just to walk in, it depends on how many they get, but I would be there a few hours before opening.

According to 2mad2bemad you cannot reserve them, as regards a midnight release, he works in a Argos and will let us know.

Amazon are still guaranteeing PS4s before Christmas, so pre-order now. It won't cost you anything and you can cancel.

Got mine preordered in April, payed off now and all. I might not be as you cool "February" kids, but I dont feel too bad myself. :cool:

I ordered mine from smyths in falkirk about a week after the 6th Aug cuttoff date for a gauranteed launch day console. Got call from them few days ago asking what I bundle I wanted to pick up on release day. I said just the console with no games. she said ok and preceeded to tell me as most have said the killzone bundle so better chance for me to get it on release.

How do you know if amazon will let you change to a bundle? I've a pre order with them they say I'll have by Christmas but didn't have any bundle options available so I just booked the console and then 2 games and an extra controller separately myself ???

Ordered mine at the end of June, I was in panic stations for a while but once I got that confirmation of day one delivery by Gamestop I was a relieved man

They changed my order online to the bundle I selected, but still no delivery date.

I hope whoever or where ever we get our PS4's that they aren't the same as the one supposidly gotten from Taco Bell which are failing and bricking.

I am not stalking you I swear :pac:

It has only been a handful of consoles, the first person to have made the claim seems to have done it himself for some publicity, not sure why the big deal when thousands are out already and only 7 have been confirmed to have issues, 4 under suspicious circumstances.

You had over 2000 consoles from Taco bell and only 2 have had problems and one of the fellas bricked his himself.

No they said they are pleased with how many they have been producing, they have said they are expecting shortages along with all the industry analysts and stores saying them same thing, it even made the Matt Cooper show yesterday, do not expect to be able to walk in and get one without a pre order till about March next year, unless you want to camp outside Argos or Tesco.

ah no worries my brother works in argos anyway said he doesnt know how many there getting ive never believed gamestop they always make it out worse than it is but im hearing differnt storys this saying people that ordered even 6 months ago might no get 1 http://www.siliconrepublic.com/digital-life/item/34818-playstation-4-and-xbox-one/

They are supposed to know on the week of launch, he might be able to put one aside for you
