Just a minor thing, but Sam Coughlin Murray is a wing not centre.

Is the Sean O'Brien in the Connacht Academy originally a Leinster schools player? He was under 20's last season but I seem to recall he was affiliated with Leinster at the time, or was he always Connacht?

Yeah I may edit that about SCM
Sean O Brien is from Galway. Had been in school in Galway and has won an All Ireland u17 clubs title when playing with Galwegians.

    Really?

He was pretty much Roscrea's best player (unless I am mixing him up with someone else)

He was the main player for Cistercian last year.
He is injured at moment and on crutches and not sure when he'll be back playing. Not in a cast but has been hobbling on crutches past while

Loss? I don't think he was ever Leinsters to lose. We'll have to disagree but he is very highly rated in Connacht and is currently training with the seniors.

Everyone's entitled to their opinion I suppose ! but he is a Galway man and valued greatly in Connacht. He didn't do too bad for Roscrea in the schools cup last year, shame that he is not up to your standard. We will just have to make do with what we have.

If that was the case half your team wouldn't be Leinster men.. Sean o brien is fine, nothing special, a 6'4 lock.. Rory Moloney is a better talent tho

John Madigan is listed as 119kg ( 18st 10Ib ) on the Munster website. I know the weights of the players can be fairly inaccurate, but usually the reality is that the player is actually heavier. If this is his true weight that would make him Munsters heaviest lock and second heaviest player.
I know there's a lot more to a lock then size and weight, but it's an impressive size for a 19 year old. Can anybody in the know confirm this.

There are some monster second rows in the academy's at the moment Leinster have Thornbury 6'8 17+st, Munster have O'Shea 6'9 18st, Madigan 6'7 19st and McCarthy 6'6 18st, any other players i have forgotten? Does anyone know about the Ulster, Connacht or Exiles second rows?

Kieran Treadwell is an exile second row to keep an eye on.. although its rumored he might have been poached by england..

Has he definitely chosen England over Ireland yet? How good could he be?

    no clue, just been rumored.

impossible to predict how good he might be in the future

Might be worth getting him in one of the academy's wouldn't be Munster as they already have 3 second rows in the academy, maybe Ulster or Leinster

    pretty heavily involved with Harlequins..

Ulster are the strongest team for going after Exiles though, with Taggart, Joyce and Dow.

Jake Caulfield released by Ulster academy, back over in england now.

This story seems to suggest that Caulfield is only over for a year, and will most likely return. http://www.plymouthherald.co.uk/Irish-prop-Caulfield-remain-Albion/story-19927325-detail/story.html

Couple of inaccuracies in that, never was a munster player and never did three years in the academy setup.. was in his second year before being released..

Article states that Caulfield had spent 3 years in academys. It doesnt state where he spent the 3 years. Caulfield had spent a couple of seasons in London Irish Academy set up which is where the 3 years will have came from

Wouldnt say he was poached by England but he has chosen to go down the English route by choosing to play England under 18s

He Is named in their under 18 side that will face Australia Schools Wednesday week. Doesn't mean he has chosen England over Ireland. Playing 18s doesn't tie you to another country

    Munster
    Out
    Darren O Shea --> Gloucester
Harry McNulty though not certain on that
    In
likely to be: Dan Goggin. Frank Bradshaw Ryan is a definite contender. Steve McMahon could go In
Max Abbott is a class act but with Munster having quite a few hookers already and age profile young enough he may not this year
