I may have had a beer or two but I want a car that's a cross between an Alfa and Freelander. Or one or the other.

I can see no potential problems down the line with you ever owning an alfa whatsoever. None

I'd be aiming towards an Land Rover or a Alfa.

But do you want something with the style of a Freelander and the power/handling of an Alfa or vice versa. What parts/characteristics of each do you want to combine?

If you're looking for space, a high riding position but with usable power, I'd suggest a supercharged RR!

And my hangover kicks in in 3,2,1

    BOOM

@marcusm I drive a Freelander yesterday and loved the high ride and comfort.

That's what I suspected, a high driving position gives a great perspective. However, if that was an 03/04 Freelander I'm surprised you enjoyed it. My sister in law has had one since 2003 and I find it horrible to drive (even when my experience was a 1.9 cdti Vectra) and of poor build quality. They've had lots of issues too. The Freelander 2 I considered buying but it did not have the power or comfort so I invested the same sum in an older fullfatrr.

Dropped a little, There's a rather large speed ramp on kings inn street and i'd like to keep my underside intact, but, apparently all my talk of doing this is irritating some posters

But look how much it concerns me
