So as you may see from the "post a pic" thread, I'm just back from picking up my new truck... GMC Sierra 1500 5.7 v8.
Thus bringing an end to a seemingly never ending search!

Had some eejit driving almost in my back seat earlier today. I was out in Kildare on a backroad going around 80 (posted speedlimit) and he kept speeding up almost against my back window. Then decided to overtake on a narrow road with a solid line. Pissed me off more than I already was...

I finally met gimpy stheno today! Got a spin in her Gtv (very nice) its like driving a go kart compared to my tractor. brought her for a spin in scratchy (much more reserved spin than at the last meet;) )
She's a sound lady and I had a great afternoon.
Thanks Stheno good to meet you.

the revs and the speed, I had it up at around 3/4k and it was still at the bottom of the dial and i was thinking "why aren't the dials working?!! I've no idea how fast I'm going! Oh god I've broken it!"

So I mentioned it to stheno and apparently that's how it works

From my travels today there was a dissapointing lack of felters to annoy, but to the people I did meet.........
It doesnt matter how hard you boot your 98 polo (with half a motor factors hanging off it) I'm still gonna pass you, 100% for effort though;)
To the dozy bint in the 118D, if you are going to put your foot down as somebody is overtaking, get on the loud pedal a bit earlier:P
Seriously though, why do people do this?? From traveling at 80kph behind her I was doing 150 when I pulled in in front of her:confused:
And finally if you have a clapped out mk1 focus, just because I can take that bend at 100k doesnt mean you can:pac:
