    That's the bogger in you.

Think of it being the unque part of you, like MMs tipp accent.

And ya can't really bang the hell out of the boot when you are directing parking from the passenger seat.

See here's the problem, us boggers we have evolved past the need for seating and have found an easier approach by having one outside the car directing, of course then you have the more advanced bogger, who can do all this by himself :pac: but we all know, they're just blow ins from the city :pac:

I have evolved somewhat further, as I can reverse all by myself.

The OH however is of the ape level of evolution, and in hard times, hops out of the car, and stands there scratching himself wondering at how women have evolved so much that one can park his car with no assistance from him, in a space he was sure it would never fit in :D

No worries, I'd e more worried about the Levin. :p

I reversed into EVERYTHING in that Almera, the bumper got put to good use. Sure I moved that tree stump a good foot back at the meet. :pac:
I've gotten better at parking. :o

Thats what I was getting at :P

Haha I love when that happens, there was a 7 series bmw trying to park one day, and it had acres of room to do it and the wife was out of the car going "Johnathan you'l never get it in (LOL!) you're going to hit the car" blah blah blah, so he moved on a bit, and I just casually took it and that was grant for me, my question is, why get something that big if you can't even park it??

Now in fairness a few weeks ago in the Bewleys on the Malahide road, he hopped out.
Tonight he managed to park in Blanch with passenger assistance.

The one excuse he has is that he got glasses for the first time at the age of 50 and he's still getting used to them.

In the hotel I was working in this week, I spent a happy ten minutes at lunchtime watching a GL lexus trying to park with assistance from the hotel staff, and they still weren't parked by the time my break was over :D

A few days sailing makes sense of how to tow.

Just do everything opposite to what you think you should :D

The bonnet took the hit.... That and the huge pile of crap it got "placed" on saved the car from more sinister damage :D see it as battle scarred

Didn't get it, there were three of us in it, and it was more down to the organisational fit than anything else, so basically yes I could have done the job, but I've worked in too many multinationals to fit in a small local company which is fair enough.

Got contact this week about six other roles, so not really worried too be honest, three of the six I'm quite keen on, so fingers crossed.

I'm aiming to be in a new job by Feb. of next year, so nothing urgent :) Current job is permanent and safe, so that's a blessing.

Ah feck it anyways :( well at least you have a job still :)
I had an interview for a cnc milling person, basically I'd draw the parts out on cad and send it to the miller, went to the interview and show the guy a bunch of tech drawings of houses and details of windows and so on, really high level stuff, and he goes, "uh you're not able to draw mechanical parts though are you?" I'd love to know the difference because in the job description they were looking for "a cad operator to copy drawings and prepare them for cnc milling" so would it matter?

I think someone posted during the earlier chat that CentrePoint Tyres were also good - and a fair bit cheaper! 19" tyre for €45, each inch smaller was said to cost €5 less. I looked at their website and they said all tyres are perfect (I assume they mean no previous repairs or any damage) and have between 5-7.5mm tread.

I paid €45 a pop for Tyreland Class A 16" tyres earlier this year. In fairness I'm happy with the tyres. I just thought they would have been cheaper. There must be a fair mark-up on part-worn tyres if CentrePoint can charge so much less and still make a profit.

Observation: This thread is moving way too fast to keep up with for someone like me who usually only has one online session per 24 hours!
