That opinion is very often expressed by other women. Theres not too many men around who have issue with women wanting sex(unless they have just been rejected). There was even a TV series showing women who like to have sex. It was in a city. I can't remember which one.

Woman using sex toy is "liberating" as women were never thought of as being capable of enjoying sex, delivering a system which enabled them to was considered a good deal all round. (and doesn't have to be a solitary thing) It appears it's other men who consider men less manly for using sex toys, as a poor substitute for the real thing.

As for women and children, maybe it's due to the high concentration of media exposure wrt child abuse and pedophilia rings over the years, the majority of which perpetrators have been of the male persuasion. whereas women have always been aligned with the nurturing child bearing fruits that come with motherhood.
