    Right so far.
    I'll give you that - Karelo-Finnish SSR.
    It was the only Soviet Republic to be subsumed into another. The Soviet Constitution recognised the right of constituent republics to secede - provided they didn't seriouly contemplate it, apparently, in which case they might expect to go the way of Karelia. ASSRs did not have an acknowledged right to secede.

    This is a trick question. Cook's wife was Elizabeth, not Catherine. Elizabeth Cook nee Batts received on Captain Cooks' death a pension of £100 per annum, and a further £25 per annum was paid in respect of each of their three surviving sons.
