    Cavan

This is controversial. The Shannon Pot, generally regarded as the source of the Shannon, is in Cavan, but it's fed by a number of underground rivers, some of which originate in Fermanagh,

Ah I see where you're coming from. I should have been clearer, this nine years war involved Scotland and England under Henry VIII

Dundee was occupied by the English during the nine years war with Scotland. What alternative name is given to this war?

Twenty four hours up. The answer is the "Rough Wooing", it was the attempt by Henry VIII to force the Scots to agree to the marriage of Prince Edward and Mary Queen of Scots.

    Easier one.
What name is given to the extinct volcano in the centre of Dundee?

This gem came to light during a trivia session over Christmas
Gaston Aumoitte & Georges Johin won the gold for which sport at the 1900 Olympics? (It helped that they were the only competitors!)
