guys going to order a card from satskelp, but how do i know if i need a cam as well, there was a previous post above where a chap ordered an aston cam which is €70 and doesn't need it. I emailed satskelp with the details of my combo box but alas no reply as of yet

He has an Alma Combo and a Triax....

The Triax wont have patched firmware, the alma will. You will need to reflash the patched firmware for the Alma to emulate the cam.

Alma_S2300_V1.20B7_emu is what you are looking for (google it).

No, that one doesn`t have the Canal+ channels which carry the premiership.

Be wary, the official decoders force subtitles onto the movie channels when the original stream is selected.

Or, at least, they used to, policy may have changed since the merger.

Of course if football is your only interest then that's fine.

Yes, it's the Canal+ Plantinum card plus n+, including nSport. I know it's only 12 months but it is still a really good deal. I am used to the old cards at 265 euro (I think when I started with them it was closer to 165 actually!) and I don't fancy forking out nearly 500 euro in one go, this brings it a little bit closer to comfort.

Anyone know/remember how long the activation takes? I called Satsklep twice today and they sent the activation (so they say) but it's about 3 hours since the last call and still nothing is clearing. Strangly, they asked me to put the box to TVP1 even though I tried to explain this channel isn't in the package I purchased! Vu+ running CCam 2.3.0, card reading OK but 0068 entitlements is back in September.

tvp 1 sd is the channel that they use to send the update

didnt someone else have a problem using cams a few weeks ago on page 31 and around that set up skype and get onto rafael tomorrow if its not working

TVP1(HD) is pretty much included in every package, even the most basic ones. MGM is another one suggested to pick up an activation. Do you get any channels at all?

When mine arrived I rang them on my lunch (about 1pm) to get it activated. When I got home from work (about 5:30) it wasn't activated...

I was preparing to have to call them back the next day - but I checked again later that evening (about 7pm) and all channels were activated.

So it looks like it could take a fair few hours

i have an expired cyfra card that i use in a spare room. Its in a dm500 running cccam 2.1.4. That seems to update ok for the national channels.

expired cards should still clear tvp 1&2, tvn and a few others for 5 years.
