What are people's thoughts on bringing in Schurrle? Risky decision or worth the risk?

    Hat trick during the week

If an omen like that pops up, I suggest you just roll with it.

Sticking with Michu. Fixtures to good, Oscar the lovable lizard will wait till next week.

I would too, the "roll with it" was just a play on the Oasis thing.

Finally pulled trigger on Barfa to Michu. That leaves me looking like this for this week, think it looks good on paper, but who knows in this game....

    Good luck all.

Am I right in thinking I dont need to rush my WC and can carry it over into the new year?

Obviously I have to use my January WC within a 2 week period, but if I dont use my other one can I save it?

I know someone who did that and the wildcard used in January took his regular one not his transfer window one.

He might have been spoofing or used it the wrong day though.

Had a great start to the season, awful last 3 weeks. Have 2 FT this week to play with. Priorities are to get rid of 2 of Moses, Ben Arfa, Eto'o (panic move after Benteke injury).

If Benteke were fit, would people choose him or Remy?

Is Ben Arfa out for Oscar or Moses out for Amafiltano a better move?

Also, any news on Sagna? I have Jenkinson who will likely only play if Sagna stays injured.

    From reading the help section:

You can play 2 wildcards a season. One wildcard can be played at any time. The January Wildcard can only be used after Gameweek 20 starts (1 Jan 11:30) until Gameweek 23 ends (1 Feb 11:30).

Sounds like I can bag it up until whenever I want to me?

I'm only on 385 but more than happy with that. The 182,565 people ahead of me have just been lucky.

I imagine he did something wrong as the whole point of the second wildcard is to have it available at any time.

I usually drop the wildcard after a couple of weeks to sort out my awful GW1 selections (edit: and last minute August transfer window targets).

A quick scan of the text from that press conference would suggest that one or two regulars could well be rested tomorrow.

He's hinting at Ramsey, I've finally caved in and brought him in a couple of weeks ago but I could easily take the blow of him missing out this week as I'll have a strong(on paper) bench, probably couldn't bring myself to leave him out though to defend against the late introduction for a one pointer.

    Weird one.

Have 2 free transfers, 4m in the bank, but only swap I'm thinking about is Jose Enrique out, Glen Johnson in.

means next week I've 2 free transfers and 4.4m in the bank which could fund a Moses-> Ozil
    or a Wittingham -> Walcott
OR Wittingham & Moses out, Oscar and Llalana in.

Can't see Jose and Johnson's difference in expected score for the remainder of the season being worth 0.4m
and kind of want rid of Moses with Coutinho on the way back and Oscar and Llalana have good fixtures from next week onwards...

Taking a 4 point hit and selling Van Persie (the prick!) and bringing in Lukaku (for Berb) and Rooney instead. Leaving a front-line of Benteke, Rooney, Lukaku.

    Will probably captain Rooney.

    Better be worth it.

Are you sure though Johnson will start tomorrow? Isn't he back from injury?

You'll only have 1 free transfer next week

No. He has 2 FT now so wether he makes a transfer or not he'll get 1 FT next week added to his saved transfer. Only thing is you can't save more than 1 FT... which I don't know if good a thing or not.

Seems like a sideways move for the sake of it emmet, Enrique is 100% certain to start tomorrow, there has to be a bit of doubt around Johnson but I expect he will start, seeing as you have the transfers anyway would you not just upgrade Wittingham for one week only, you'll still be in the same position next week to do the other transfers you mentioned as you'll still have two free transfers, Michu could be a good bet for this week.

I was assuming he would be making a transfer this week in which case there would be only 1 free transfer next week

Any word on Walcott coming back, and will he be an automatic starter once fit?
