    I just don't get the Katy Perry thing,I don't think she's beautiful and her sex appeal is next to zero as it seems so contrived. I spoke with a friend on a subject like this and the best example I could give was Beyonce and Kelis,one looks good on your arm and the other would ride you into the ground like a train.

    Anyway,I nominate ms.Perry.

    What about Zooey Deschanel, who looks extremely like her?

    IMO Katy looks awesome and I love her voice. But her music is sh1t and she seems like an attention-seeking gimp.

    Christina Hendricks is the only woman that would make me believe in Goddesses.

    As for so called sex symbols, any girl that seems to dye their hair blonde and slap on a load of fake tan consider themselves a sex symbol when its quite the opposite.

    I agree with everything, but I do actually like some of her music as well. It's "fun music", lifts the aul spirit.

    I don't know FF, hard to say,I don't have a particular attraction to any type,I just find myself looking at a bland,nondescript person whose claim to fame is pop song videos with diminishing clothing.I'm not even mentioning the music but I just have no attraction whatsoever to ms.Perry.

    Re Jean Byrne: I think it might be because she looks pretty glamorous compared to the stereotypical Irish woman of her age (I know that stereotype is fading) and she wears borderline S&M-ish type clothes.

    I think she looks great, but that's just me - I'm not saying you should agree. :)

    I'd imagine that she's younger than me(34) and anyhow I wouldn't neccessarily equate age with sexiness(unless you start getting into octogenarians etc.).It is more about the aura(forgive me) a woman gives off,and for me KP gives off this vibe of "I do this to keep famous" there is nothing random about it.
    She just doesn't do it for me(you lose KP:rolleyes:).

    Most celebrities are a bit meh IMO. If they weren't famous and had stylists, hair and make up people the normal person on the street wouldn't give them a second look tbh.
