Social networking can be over the top with people posting utter useless crap about themselves or taking pictures of what they had for dinner :pac: But it's said that information can spread in minutes these days thanks to it.

Maybe, but the sceptic in me finds it hard to believe that there are 2-3 attempted abductions by 'foreign men' in vans country wide every day. It feels like scaremongering to me.

Seriously, what type of person would create such a terrible lie? It's sad because you have to take things with a pinch of salt.
