No, the tin foil hats are for those who believe a guy called Jesus Christ (Saviour Messiah) came to save all our souls. Died, was resurrected and will return again one day. Not to mention the bull**** miracles he supposedly performed. Which incidentally were, a lot of them, performed by Yeshua in the Old Testament. Regardless if the Romans created this work of fiction the whole idea of a magic man in the sky is bonkers.

I was thinking about this before.

As Seaneh has said, they've proven that a person by the name of Yeshua ben Yosef did live. But what if he was just a really great con artist and illusionist? I mean, it is somewhat possible since there have been 'magic' tricks that have dated back to around this period. So he does these, gets people really interested in what he can do and then a while after his death, some people fabricate the rest.

the Christians weren't persecuted, they broke Roman law and got the same punishment as any other citizen breaking the law. The church promoted the idea of persecution after the fact.

I think the weirdest part of the major religions is that some them centre on such a small part of the planet.

There are certain things people will say are in the bible and they aren't such as hell. The place people often point to as references to hell is actually a real place. The bible containing warning/prediction/theory on what would happen if people didn't unite. Hell being a location outside of Jerusalem (could be another city) where and invading force would lay all the dead and set them on fire. "the gnashing of teeth" being what people did when they were grieving and repentant.

Don't forget the bible suggests you offer up your wife and daughter to a rapist gang if they were going to rape a male guest. I also think it says Mary was 13 when she became pregnant after visiting the church everyday and that the priest (who worked in the church) forced Joseph to marry her so she wasn't stoned to death.

The bible was certainly rewritten and altered from the beginning
