Toyota Landcruiser would be better known and more widely used

Coke. They even smuggle it into North Korea!

    Man Utd. Unfortunately :pac:

I think it is nearly even more amazing to think of brands that were once so ubiquitous and are now nearly forgotten. Nokia being the best example. I can see it happening in the next few years, unlike all the previous releases not one person on FB has decided to bore the hole off me with their excitement of buying their new iPhone on the release a few weeks back.

Coca Cola by a country mile I'd say. I've lived in remote areas of Thailand where so many shop fronts have a Coca Cola or Nescafe awning. Apple and Google will be recoginsed by a younger generation but every man, Jack and his dog across the planet must know Coca Cola.

Coca Cola has to be the most widely known. From high streets to slums to everywhere else, people are drinking coke.

I remember seeing a photoset called "What the world eats" that was a collection of photographs of families from across the world pictured with what they ate in a week.

With the exception of refugees who get by on a bag of rice, a bag of beans and a bottle of oil, and a family from some mountainous Flargh-istan country who appeared to eat only mutilated mammals, almost everyone drinks Coca Cola or Pepsi if they can afford it.

    And eats Cornflakes, oddly enough.
