Great, thanks. Oh, any word when WP will support podcasts again?
It's well under way I think there's an app called podcatcher, never listen to them myself tbh .

You can sync podcasts from iTunes to the phone. Its a bit pants but does for now.

How is the screen on the phone? I had the lumia 800 and it had a horrible blue tint at the very slightest hint of off axis.

Screen is brilliant vast improvement over the 800.

I love this phone. Huge step up from 800.

Two problems though. Can't delete any songs, and am having trouble with keyboard closing when I click into reply field on a forum (just one, not all of them). Any solutions?

I've used Podcast Lounge extensively; works really well.

Either podcast lounge or use the desktop app to sync with an iTunes Library

I have the Lumia 925 a month now. Amazing phone but has anyone else experienced poor signal strength/dropping calls? Any fixes to this problem?

Got my 925 last week from meteor. A day or so later I noticed the back plate is very flexible and clicking when pressed. Phone is also reporting no sim the odd time. Ran into Nokia Care on Saturday with the phone and they reckon out its a manufacturing fault and I've to DoA it with meteor. The guy in there had a 925 and my wife has one and neither of these have the same issue. Now to get meteor to replace the handset.

Any one else notice this or have the same problem?

Aside from that its a great handset.

If your Sim is any way over a year old this generally the cause.

Yeah it would be. I'll try that and report back. Thanks!

Is there a way to delete music without plugging into pc?

Anyone had problems with keyboard closing as soon as you click into a reply field in forums?

Open music folder scroll to songs, tap hold and delete.
    Keyboard sometimes acts up.

    Constant or intermittent?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,062 ✭✭✭Slick50

Has anyone tried recording a call on this phone. My old Nokia E51 had a very handy record function, unlike most, if not all the smartphones. Does this phone allow recording of both sides of a call, without having the call on loudspeaker. Any cons with this phone.

    Thanks in advance, Slick50.

Finding this phone to be a bit too fragile, especially considering the price tag.
Seems like a big step backwards for nokia.

Hi senor, thanks for your post. Have you (or anyone else) tried recording an active call? Do you know if you can activate the voice record function during a call, and if so does it record both sides of the call?

The legality of recording phone calls varies, depending upon country and state there is no apps as yet to do so and dont imagine there will be soon.

    Thanks for the reply jimmynokia.

I don't see what has changed legally, since Nokia's earlier products. But I'm sure it won't enhance their market position, as most other phones have apps available to provide this already. Nokia playing catch-up again, or maybe not.

You have totally missed the point there.
