So you've known this girl since she was what, 8 or 9?

****ing hell, seriously out of line.

Yeah probably would have first met her about 7 or 8 years ago. Didn't really think of it like that tbh. we didn't do anything though until after she turned 17.

I would box the teeth out of any 26 year old sniffing around my 17 year old daughter

Of course you could apply the scientifically proven equation of half your age + 7 to provide an answer to your question op.

Ah here, she's not even out of secondary school. Jesus, she's barely over celebrating her Junior Cert results.

I was about to say "Says who?", but...
Yeah she just started fifth year, did her inter cert last year but didn't bother with transition year.

What the fug? Did she stay back a couple of times or something? I didn't do transition year either, but when I was 17 I was in first year in college

    they're jealous.

im 35 and my gf is 24. at the start all my m8s were saying the same thing as yours but over a year later all im hearing is "i must get myself a young one like you did".

Dude. Seriously. That's disgusting, basically you're saying you want a young girl so you can use her for sex. If the legal age was 15 would you be after one that young as well?

Just to be clear, this is one of those 'Friday' threads, right? Your not really sleeping with a child?

If not, don't visit the house in case the father does what he should do, and ends up in court.

What does a 'man' of 24 have in common with a 17 year old?

French rule: half your age plus 7.
    26/2+7=20!

I went through college with her brother. He threw a brick through the front window last week while we were going at it, he is not impressed to put it mildly and has been making a lot of threats, hopefully empty ones but you wouldn't know what would happen if he gets enough drink on board.

I'd be confident of taking the old fella if it comes to blows.

The simple fact that you posted "while we were going at it" proves to me that you are at the same maturity levels of the 17 year old girl. I'm sure her father will be delighted to find out that not only are you 26 years old but you act and think like a 17 year old.

I'd love to be there for the meet and greet! :D

Not that it makes much difference but I'm 26. I'm not exactly with her for love either pal, it's the cut between her legs that I want.

Sure when you do meet the parents it will probably like that scene in Trainspotting. You know, the one the next morning with the flatmates parents

Methinkns the OP is on a bit of a windup.

Sure, best thing to do is to end it before it gets anymore out of hand.

Break up with her gently though, maybe take her out for a pint and have a... Oh wait... She can't be in a pub past 9pm. :pac:

Must be a fairly mentally challenged 24 year old.

I'm 26, recently started prodding a girl who turned 17 last month.

All my pals are calling me a creeping Tom, pervert, Gary Glitter, deviant, degenerate, bottom feeder etc.

Thinking of calling a halt to it tbh, the abuse is getting too much to take.
Or am I thinking about it too much?

Edit: I should mention as well that she is fairly eager for me to meet the parents. I could imagine nothing more awkward tbh.

    Depends on the person.

And yes, that's not going to be fun.
