Seems there won't be a rearranged date now.
Peter Fury has stated that they will move on & not fight Haye.

Seems they have quickly retracted fom that & now seem to want to wait for Haye.

It's about the only logical fight for Fury as he probably isn't on Klitchko's radar & he has too much to lose if something went wrong against Chisora or Tony Thompson. He probably afraid to step in against Deontay Wilder & see's Haye (rightly or wrongly) as he best shot to get a title oppurtunity

He came out very quick to say that. I dont think they ever wanted the fight, but tysons mouth got him in trouble on channel 5

That is a load of shite, people can say what they want about Fury and about how they dont like him but he wouldn't duck anyone and wants to fight the best. Of course he wanted the fight.

Because he got cut? Yeah, good argument there

He clearly got caught, and if it required stitches, I would wage a decent bet that the fight would have been stopped.

Also find it odd for him to be sparring this heavy so close to the fight.

Its not odd at all to be sparring this close to a fight, paul smith and tony bellew were saying that if you spoke to any of the top pros its not unusual to be sparring 3-4 days before a fight.

Pity this fight is off though the real losers are the fans..

I'm not sure why folks think it's odd to be sparring 8-9 days before the fight. Not every boxer follows the same routine. It's not an exact science. You can get cut from even a light sparring session. These guys are HWs.

You got me wrong, im a fan of Fury. Im not convinced on his boxing skills, but he has heart, and a mouth, which is what i think the heavyweight scene needs.
About him wanting to box the best, i still think its too early for him. He could have had bigger fights than he has had but he didn't.
I just thought Peter came out very quick. Now hopefully il be proved wrong and he'll get a big fight in the coming months.

What's happening with undercard, andy Lee was down to fight.

He said on twitter a couple days ago he's hoping for a new date soon, not sure if that means the rescheduled fight in Feb. or another undercard though.

I know the Scott Quigg fight was rescheduled for the 5th of Oct bill on sky but think poor Andy isn't a priority for sky so he looses out.

Here's an interview Haye did with BBC radio. Interesting to hear them talking bout how the lay off may affect Fury more.

Tyson fury would have been giving haye a really good old fashioned arse kicking this evening. I am sorry to have missed it

Any word on whether Tyson has managed to find someone that he can wallop for a few rounds? Would be surprised if he doesn't fight in the next 3 weeks.

Any truth in the rumour that he was entering the bare knuckle boxing championship or that he was going to fight some kickboxer?

    Yeah right.

They would have both stunk the place out.

Both of them are afraid to get hit.

It would have been 10 rounds of avoiding each other and hugging with maybe a decent round or two at the end.

I don't think so. Fury comes to fight. He's not a stinker. Haye can be stinky depending on the foe, but he can also fight when he has to. Their styes vs each other lend to action IMO

He was à few hours ago. He is very fit looking. Said he is ticking away nicely with training. Was not hard to pick up that he wants to flatten fury

Rumors circulating about a possible cancellation.

It aint no rumour, its confirmed click here

I dont know how to take this news to be honest. I really do have to doubt whether Haye was ever going to go through with the fight. Either he's very cautious on not fighting when he's not 100% healthy, or he's just a bit of a coward.

Easy for me to say while i sit here hiding behind a keyboard. But he does have a huge history of cancelling fights.

Yeah just looked it up on badlefthook and the fight which was scheduled for February has been cancelled. Haye has had surgery on his left shoulder and has been advised by doctors to retire for good. Haye must be very brittle, he seems to get injured a lot, good job he didnt have a seriously tough career.

^^^ My bad, looked it up again and its his right shoulder.

What a joke. I actually feel sorry for Fury wasting His time training and hanging around waiting for this fight.

I don't care if he has to retire he's nothing but a bottler. End of an era I'm happy to see the back of.

A lot can change in a week apparently....

What clown Haye is, a stain on boxing which is hopefully gone for good.

I wont blame him on the shoulder injury, but i have to say, he could have boxed with that cut the last time.

It was a tiny cut, a nothing cut. With tight stitches it would have been unnoticeable come fight night. But he decided not to fight.

How many times has he pulled out of fights though? The number really is quite high.
