    I think some people are more satisfied by the sense of validation and/or psychological victory of knowing that somebody would sleep with them, without being arsed about the actual mechanics of doing it.

    Also, I reckon fantasies and even expectations have been/can be raised by the ease of access to so much varied pornography, that the real deal could sometimes be seen to be too vanilla.

    Asexuality is much more common than you think and gay men who don't like anal sex is very common

    I suppose straight men who don't like sex would hardly go around shouting about it. Presumably people would consider them gay. That's probably why it's considered rare..

    probably just quite young, lot of their sex was when they wre drunk or on other drugs. probably wasn't with someone they actually liked but another equally empty tortured vassal. If these guys are **** 10 times a day though they've probably got so bloody specialised in how to orgasm, intercouse after a afew minutes probably becomes bit of a chore.

    they'd need to wise up.

    *aside* Oh yes RM. One of the greatest bits of music ever committed to vinyl. I recall reading an interview with Paul McCartney and he was asked what songs he would have liked to have written and that was up there and he's not exactly lacking in a bit of previous in the songwriting end of things(frog song notwithstanding).     A lot of bachelors are not willingly or consciously 'asexual' or deliberately celibate, many just don't have a personality or social effectiveness in how they look, talk or present that's conducive to the opposite sex wanting to have relationships or get jiggy with them, a lot of women too.

    This is often coupled with personal circumstances that prevent relationships forming like lack of money, unemployment, depression, mental or physical disability, extreme social anxiety, lots of other things.

    They are usually depressed or have something medically wrong in my experience. I don't remember being crazy about it as a woman in my 20s but at 30 I'm kind of on the prowl ;) . So some ups and downs may be normal but long lasting issues need attention.
