    This happened to me once in Dunnes. Was getting a bottle of vodka, they wouldn't accept my licence. Just took my business elsewhere and went down to Supervalu, where they accept licences. Out of a matter of interest, what stores (apart from Dunnes) don't accept licences now?
    I know Aldi, Lidl and the various Supervalus that I've been to accept them.
    It's really inconsistent though. My age card was refused in a
    Centra too and was told they'd only accept a licence (which I didn't have at the time as I didn't drive).

    Im 24 and look about 30. Only friday gone I was queing for a gig in Limerick and the bouncer was IDing everyone. I was actually getting excited and got out my license to give to him and he said "na you dont need that bud, go on in". I went from :) to :( there and them.

    Went to hotel with the girlfriend. She's a few months older than me. 29.

    Went down for breakfast, hostess asks me - is your daughter having breakfast? Special rate for under 12s....

    I'm 44 and only look about 24!
    It can be tough sometimes getting asked for ID all the time, also beating all the young men away with a stick! But I must carry on.

    I'm 25 and look about 10 years younger. Combination of being short and having a baby face. Some places don't even accept my ID on its own, need to show them a bank card or something with my name on it.

    Told i look young for my age. 34 but look about 27/28 apparently.

    Was in the states in 2000 and had to buy a bottle of wine for a friend who looked like santa claus but had no ID with him.

    I'm the wrong side of 50, but people are often surprised when I do tell them how old I am, they think I'm late 30s. :)

    I got asked for id when trying to buy smokes a few weeks ago. About 6 hours later that day, wearing the exact same clothes, with the exact same dopey face I agreed to do a short questionnaire thing when I enquired about about giving up smoking while waiting in the hospital (it was a cancer kiosk) and when she was ticking boxes to my answers she said you're in the 30-49 category yeah and ticked it before I could answer.

    So I'm either max 17 looking or in my thirties. :confused:

    I was a bit annoyed about both, I'm mid twenties. I guess I kinda look a bit young but a bit weathered.

    Either way, GIVE ME MY SMOKES AND GIVE ME MY CANCER DVD BITCHES!!! :)

    You'll be glad of it once you hit your late twenties and everyone else has the beginnings of looking a bit worn out.
