Insanely jealous of all you guys getting it today/tomorrow. But I suppose it's for the best given I have assignments to do.

Shame though, I was hoping there'd be more of us on the thread on Monday building up to the release. Now half of ye will be playing it, which will diminish the hype somewhat. Sort of bad form by Amazon to ship so early, shipping on Friday for UK addresses is a bit mad and was always going to break street date.


Re: the Xtravision and Gamestop guys, I think the Gamestop guy was fair enough, probably getting loads of calls asking the same thing and is just getting frustrating having to repeatedly say they're not breaking street date. The Xtravision guy on the other hand... :eek:

I got a text off PM this morning saying I didnt have enough in my account to process the parcel. Now I do, and it still says no parcels

So after you open the first one someone would be notified and you can't be sure you'd get the right box. Plus even if you were lucky to get a GTA game on the first box its 50/50 if its the right platform.

Garda is only around the corner for it but any panic alarm I've been around still has a 15 -30 minute response time.

There was an issue a while ago where a girl was going jump into the river. Called Garda, never showed up. Old man dragged her up. Someone went to the garda. They were told "she would've been grand, it's only a small drop and it's not that deep"
