    I think so.
John Mckenna/Board next at just under a year.

George Patterson at 15 months is the next shortest in his first term as manager.

David Thompson, Richie Partridge and Steve Ogrizovic having their birthdays today.

As an interesting aside, Leroy Rosenior is the champion in the league table of shortest managerial reigns. He signed up at Torquay during a takeover in 1997 and ten minutes later the new owners sacked him to bring in their own man.

This definitely needs a Where Are They Now post!

Thompson - retired in 2007 due to injury. No idea what he's doing now apart from the odd media appearance.

Partridge - Retired in 2011 due to injury and is now a qualified physio.

Ogrizovic - Currently goalkeeping coach at Coventry City.

Are Hodgson's defenders starting to realise what a sham of a manager he is yet? Woeful football, woeful in the media. Shivers down my spine thinking about that man managing Liverpool still. A horrible nightmare.

The people mainly defending Hodgson at the time were Utd fans iirc.

    Speaks volumes :-)

You would have to imagine Rodgers will win Manager of the month award and Sturridge or Mignolet for player of the month.

David Thompson scored in what I think was the first Liverpool matches I ever attended. Nov 12th 2000, Liverpool 4 -1 Coventry. He scored Coventry's consolation goal and got a very generous round of applause for it. I'm pretty sure it was in to the Anfield Road end and was from outside the box. Weirdly, that is one of the few memories I have from that game.

I'd say they face stiff competition from Danny 'Doubled his goal tally' Welbeck.

I have some memory of Kenny winning it during our good spell at the end of his first season.

There are a couple of manager/player of the month awards..the Barclays awards have not been won by a Liverpool player or manager since 2009

Yeah Torres was the last to win (Sept 2009).

Incidentally there was no August or May awards last season.

Fellaini, Van Persie and Vertonghen beat him to it on 3 occasions last season

Is there an August award? There was none last year but maybe that's because it wasn't a year ending in an international tournament?

Season started late last year though, wasn't there only 1 or 2 games in August due to late start of the season because of the Olympics and then an international break very quickly afterwards

Yeah exactly, thought it might have been that, don't really remember the dates but knew it was late.

    The title is ours!!
Nigeria coach Stephen Keshi believes Victor Moses can help Liverpool win the Premier League this season!

The Nigeria winger signed for the Reds last week on-loan from Chelsea.

Keshi declared: “I am happy with this because Liverpool is a club I like very much.

“The arrival of Moses means Liverpool will win the championship because he is a very good player who will boost the side.”

    Missing the last paragraph.
'I am so confident of Liverpool winning the title that if every fan forwards me their bank details I will deposit 1million dollars into their account should they fail to do so.'
