I still didn't resolve that issue but I already switched to Israel ITunes last sat and had downloaded the app.

I then returned too Irish ITunes and its been stuck own Irish Store on both my devices ever since.

Question regarding language selection on that app. Can an alternative audio track be selected like on satellite? If it can I cannot see it anywhere.

    Just a brief update:

Received IPTV player in post. Total Cost €48.58 incl delivery. XBMC and Netflix works out of the box. No need to reflash if you prefer not to.
It ships with Android 4.2.2 preinstalled.

One word of caution. It ships with 1080p as default. So to change setting you will need access to your/friends/neighbours 1080p tv. I first connected it to 1080i tv and got no picture. Swapped to 1080p tv and changed settings so that it plays on my 2nd 1080i/720p tv.

Ok. Just to update progress on above. Have been testing on a €48.58 euro iptv box. (May cost few euro more if customs get their hands on it) Allow €65 tops incl taxes and an post fee.

So for €65 you get a nice little dual core iptv player and FlyAir mouse Wireless Keyboard that operates on 4.2.2 android. plays Netflix and XBMC on your tv. Access to google play store apps. Through XBMC and offside you get all the sport you want and Richard Keyes included...Subscription of €5.50 pm for this.

I have been testing with custom firmware. I have ordered another one of these devices and plan to test with shipped firmware. Some here may prefer to not have to reflash the box. It will be about 2 weeks before I can report back on that.

Cheers let us know what the quality of offside is like. Are the JSC channels in HD or SD?

Looking at the site you linked to they are loads of Android boxes some even with quad core cpu.

    Many thanks

Get yourself an ouya from amazon, xbmc and retro games. I've offside streams on mine working perfect.

Just a heads up for anyone using an Iphone for AJ, If your phone is jailbroke you can get an app from Cydia called GuizmoDNS which allows you to use DNS settings on 3G, so when your out and about you can watch AJ!

Obviously you need a good 3G signal and speed but it works perfect!

The only other thing you need to do is to change your IP for the DNS by using Safari to log onto Overplay and smartDNS to change your IP settings.

Quality is very good SD. No HD channels available yet. I have experenced no buffering. About 30 channels available. Not All Al JSC available yet, but should be all there before end of month. Currently ch5-9 available. Will have 1-3 and 10 soon. Plently of others with english 3pms too.

I have up 8mb broadband with vodafone landline. Get about 5mb.

More Channels added each week. Some HD promised.

Not all android perform well with XBMC. I have 2 quad cores on order, currently in customs. So wait a week and I will report back on playback .

Not a gamer, but because the OUYA is using the Tegra 3, its seems to next in line as a useful xbmc boxes. Because its primarily a gaming box, did you get a replacement remote for it, to use instead of the game controller?

What's the remotes like on the collection of boxes you bought?

Have been thinking about getting 1 of these boxes for the last few months.
Seems like they have similar issues to our stb's - reliance on hardware vendor to release decent kernel/hardware drivers for the relevant chipset used.
Popular chipset is Rockchip RK3XXX (MK808), followed by AMLogic (ATV1200), and new kid Tegra 3 (OUYA).
General census seems to be that XBMC works better off linux rather that Android, though it seems to be getting there.
Also, there seems to be box versions of the usb sticks containing the same chipset - these have more usb ports and an rj45 (something I am looking for).
Read good things said devices on futeko site, also useful for information there, as well as xbmc.org and xbmchub sites.
Looking at getting an atv1200 box myself, but was given a pi this week, so will wait and see.

No it's perfect!! My father laid claim to that after showing him so that one is at the parents house! Usually there for the 3pms!

The new one is at my work house! The on demand function of offside is excellent in HD too!

I wonder what is the cheapest one xmbc will work on

I have a JB ATV 2 and an MX android box, both with XBMC. Has anyone managed to get al jazeera working on xbmc. Wouldn't mind subscribing if I could.

I have got the MX android 4.2 tv box dual core in the last few days. Have offside streams set up on it and s*y sp**ts and bt are running perfect on it. Sound and picture are crystal clear.

Now I'm just wondering do they show all 3 pm kick offs on Saturday?

It lists jsc +1 to + 10 on kingof sat on badir6 on 26.
Is that true. Is that the correct channels for prem.

KingofSat is pretty reliable. It and Lyngsat are my two main resources. If they concur, and they do, then it must be correct.
    http://www.lyngsat.com/Badr-6.html
and yes, they are the correct channels.

Now we're talking! Could see the possibilities there.....not for me , I am not a footie fan, but there is always someone asking how to get Premiership games live.
Would you pm your working settings please? Private details excluded. of course.

    Hi m8,

    Simple setup really ...

Raspberry PI 512mb version (Latest version)
    Raspmc
Add fusion server and install Offside streams
Subscribe to offside streams at 4.99 per month and get all the sport you want.

Additionally you can install Icefilms, 1Channel etc and watch TV series, Movies etc without a problem ..
