    Bust a move on the dancefloor. I'm oldish now but yonks ago dancing to "I want to be a Hippy" with my mam, in her flowery dress, with low heels, at a 21st birthday party was brilliant.

    Was mad for the much older fellas when I was in my 20s - as in, 20-ish years older. It was only ever a bit of fun, no serious relationships resulted, but it was great. :)

    I don't see anything wrong with people in their 30s/40s wearing leather jackets either - provided it's not a really "young" style. Nothing will part me from my leather jacket!

    I went for a job interview the other day and the woman who interviewed me confused me with another applicant and she said, "You're 29, am I right?" and I corrected her and said, "No, I'm 33" and she said, "Oh, you don't look 33" implying I looked younger, which, I suppose is an indirect compliment and I had to thank her because that's what you're supposed to do.


    This is one thing I'm not a fan of: when people tell me I don't look my age (they usually mean I look a bit younger). Eh...this is what 33 looks like, missus. What am I supposed to look like? The arse of my jeans bulging out the back because I'm wearing an adult nappy with boobs under my armpits getting from a to b on a zimmer frame? This is the face of 33! I didn't think I was at that age when people compliment you for looking younger ffs.

    Meh!

    Being a bit of a stick-in-the-mud and going bald at 19/ 20 resulted in a full on quarter life crisis that lasted a couple of years. At least now I realise I'm just a pup of 31...
