Did he wear the lid inside the church ? Only photos I saw were of him outside it. You need a wee hat to protect from the UV rays and the cold when you've a shiny head like myself and the Hedge.

Like i clearly said, its not religious, why are some people so determined to make this a religious argument. it's a simple and widely acknowledged sign of respect.

People are so old fashioned and stuck in the olden days i laugh at them. I wouldn't wear a hat in a church because i would never be in a church as i'm not religious thankfully. Mumbo Jumbo is all this hat bashing is from old-farts stuck in draconian day's.

Now which hat will i wear tomorrow, ah, this one looks good, rastaman hat.
