I was black flagged and when I went to the tower I was told 'well we were sure you're engine was about to go bang so we brought you in before you ruined the track'

Ah I get ya now :D you just reminded me the other day in Dundalk a truck had decided to give up the ghost outside the marshes and looked to have emptied it's entire oil contents on the ground.... some mess

Ugh, Airsoft will have me financially ruined by the end of the year :(

Don't talk to me, If the other half knew how much all that stuff cost me in the spare room I'd be walked out and shot.

Can anyone tell me where you get the forms for declairing a car off the road for tax (old system) Do you get them from the garda, the tax office or can you print them off yourself?

    Thanks

I'm sure the Garda or tax office have plenty too.

In the motor tax office in Wicklow. 33 people in the queue in front of me and 3 desks open. Now taking bets on how long I'll be here.

45% will want to pay half with card and half with cash, someone will have an hour long discussion about the price of it etc. . .

    3 hours 47 minutes.

Something I bought today, I think it blends in nicely! I'd like to think of myself as an all-inclusive car enthusiast...

Car insurance paid for the year. 1100 so not too bad considering that it was 900 last year on the polo!
Also found out that if I declare the vehicle off the road for longer than 28 days, the period that its off the road for will be refunded and when it comes to renewal next September ill have another year to add to the Ncb. Happy days!:D

    @ Cabb8ge

Yes if the diameter of the wheel, width of the wheel and overall weight remains the same then yes it will not effect it at all. We're talking very minimal effect, not noticeable at all really unless you really went testing it somehow.

The awkward moment jumping into the car and smelling burning oil at an alarming rate..... Only to look up and see that the road is actually being repaired properly

I may leave my mark before they put c*nty loose chippings down :pac:

Yep they are! Now if they could leave it like this that would be great :)

Good placing of the diverted traffic sign :pac:

There is a slight drip but nothing major I hope.... I'll be swapping it again in due time ;)

Buy OEM if you drive it on. As good as spurious bits are you're going to be bouncing that car of 9k RPM
